I did this edit for fun and I didn't know where else to post it. I recommend All Quiet on the Western Front and I'm extremely excited for 28 Years Later. Yes I'm a Musician, but I was an editor first so this kind of stuff is therapeutic to me. Anyways more music content coming soon! - Love Biv
I am an editor and I love your work, man. There isn't much content like this anymore. Most channels just do AMVs or something. You did a great job, bro.
@gmzogga I definitely do those for my music here and there, but I like to include film edits and such because that was the first art form that I became attached to
@@-Biv I wasn't saying AMVs are bad or anything! I love them, but I miss seeing old school edits like this one. I'm not actively searching, though. Same goes for me, man. At 15 I got into "professional" editing and been doing it to deal with my emotions ever since. The special thing about editing is that you use all kinds of different art forms to make new art. I'm always excited when you release new music. But when you upload an edit (with your music) I am smiling like crazy lol Keep up the amazing work and do as many edits as you wish. Nobody would ever complain about that. "Im Westen nichts Neues" is a brilliant film btw. Especially for me as a German. Have a good one, bro!
@@imgvillasrc1608 that's fair, it was horrible for sure. But the audio is still being used to set the horror mood. You could also make it a psychological horror with the setting.
Fucking hell man i can't stress this enough, how fucking masterfully you made this. shiwers down my spine. I saw a great edit with the film but this is even more well timed with the cuts. Hope you gonna keep doing these.
This is so severly underrated. It's devastating searching for appropriate praise in the comments because this has to be one of the most professional and well edited trailers I've seen in my life. You are talented.
Funny how the source material works better when applied to a movie that has something to do with the source material. I took a bit of exception to the 28 Years Later trailer because well...I feel like the poem has a pretty heavy point to make and it was sorta missing it.
Actually it's the Second Boer War. Life of an infantryman has changed little in the history of warfare. Endless walking while carrying impossible weights in terrible conditions to meet horrific situations only to come home and have no one understand what happened to you...I just watched The Return about Odysseus's return to Ithaca. Soldiers coping with what they experienced and what they have done will never change. We're foot-slog-slog-slog-sloggin' over Africa Foot-foot-foot-foot-sloggin' over Africa -- (Boots-boots-boots-boots-movin' up and down again!) There's no discharge in the war!
@rxdinaprxductixn6174 I've never seen Soviet films as far as I know. I've watched "come and see" which was extremely haunting and something outside of American streaming
*Meanwhile, further down the line, in the mind of Herr Leutnant Ernst Jünger as he leads sturmtruppe into Valhalla: **_"I have transcended fear und zeen zhe beautiful glory of war; it's like summer camp but wiz tanks und artillerie!!!"_*

i love this man keep it up
good stuff hella good
It really is “weeks became years” for this war. And this movie. Good editing.
That is a clever connection. Both last long, and were a hellish time
“Over before christmas”
Straight chills!! I've watched this movie before but this made it even better, you can really feel the tension
If it wasn’t a nightmare to imagine already, you have made it one.
Excellent work!
I'll see you when this pops up in the recommendation in 10 years. This is gonna make so many people want to watch
phenomenal, especially the fast paced end montage that cuts back to the begginging for a moment
How has this not blown up???? I got the CHILLS!
Definitely watching All Quiet once more.
Literally the best fanmade movie trailer I have seen! Will place this in my favourites playlist and you have earned a sub! :)
really good edit, looks "official"
merry christmas
@@OG_bobbi thank you 🤍 merry Christmas to you as well
Amazing edit, its really chilling and spine tingling.
This gave me an idea of a horror movie set in WW1.
There’s already one.. “Trench 11”
@gefreitercluey6569 looks interesting, definitely deserves a 28 Years Later style edit.
No need to make a "horror" movie set in WW1.
An honest 100% historically accurate and authentic WW1 movie would suffice.
@@imgvillasrc1608 that's fair, it was horrible for sure. But the audio is still being used to set the horror mood. You could also make it a psychological horror with the setting.
That would actually be cool, a physiological horror movie
This is the best fan trailer of this movie that I've seen
This is fantastic

Loved the movie, loved the edit. Keep up the insane work

I'm a union set decorator in the industry, bro this is perfect. I wish this WAS the trailer for this masterpiece of a movie! Great work 👏
this is actualy better than the 28 days later trailer!
This might be the best one I've seen
Whoever did this, you're a fucking artist.
Epic, I was the 100th like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But in all seriousness, I thought this video felt fitting for the film in a way
We grew up on the reverse, King Country. We all will die for the Rich. Proud men stand up now
Finally a good edit.
Amazing, well done!
Merry Christmas Biv! 🎄🎁🩷
Love your music man! 🤩

Really inspiring !

❤❤❤
Sequel to this "Come And See"!
Yes fury vibes
Ik the production team in charge of the trailer probably punching the air, cause it's literally FOR this trailer but
I don't know why but there's always something world war 1 air of gas mask that always makes them look creepier than modern gas masks
Nice Job!
As if the poem wasn’t horrifying enough
This poem is actually from a soldier from WW1 who went insane

DUDE WHY WAS THIS NOT THE A THAK TRAILER 🥹
3 Christmas later
F*ck this hits hard.
Did you ever watched Soviet films about war? I highly recommend to try it at least once. Going to be interesting experience for you
@rxdinaprxductixn6174 I've never seen Soviet films as far as I know. I've watched "come and see" which was extremely haunting and something outside of American streaming
@ Lol. I just wanted to recommend “come and see” because of the same reason. Much love from Russia. Keep going 🔥
Just wow. Well done
what editing software did you use?
sony vegas
Imagine if you will. Dropping in there as a WW1&WW2 VETERAN. Like hard. Unlimted ammo and stamina. Make for a good short.
LOL. Im a "goodie"
auf einmal deutsch bei ihm, ich dachte ich bin hier falsch😂
