A few years ago, he was on someone's podcast (can't remember whose) saying that he had nowhere near enough money to retire, his show 'Legit' had been cancelled, and he was starting to run out of stand-up material, which was a huge worry that kept him awake at night. The Jim Jefferies Show was the best he could hope for, big exposure, regular money and a team of writers to keep the 'funny' coming, and all he had to do was start expounding the network's left-wing, liberal ideology, in the same way Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, and Trevor Noah do.
this permeates our culture in so many ways. its the same way literally every where, people just put their freedom and what makes them great aside for the good retirement and the good benefits. not every body is a jesus christ. or a william wallace, patrice oneil, donald trump?, or a gg allan. its a bloody shame
