This case had me weeping. It showed the most horrible aspects of humanity and the most beautiful that gives us all hope. The story showed the juxtaposition of good and evil as poignantly as Peng’s pictures side by side. Beautifully done❤
the child actor is excellent, he nailed this role!!!! when xiao peng let his anger out during the drawing session, i could feel his pain as well. his acting here is beyond my expectation, and i already held it high for this series. when he bursted into tears, i cried with him too. the bonding between the brothers, regardless they were blood related or not, is also portraying beautifully. this is such a well done episode from the directing, acting to the editing. the background music when yun lei realized how important he was to xiao peng really hit the feeling. thank you to the team, this is what we came for and it was worth the wait!!!!!

😭 They nailed the script. I could feel every emotion of the Child actor. SO VIBRANT SO TALENTED!! I was crying so hard the entire episode. When he got stabbed by the sharp object MY HEART FELL TO THE GROUND. I hope the character Peng lives happily for the rest of his life and meets Yu gege later in life. Very emotional

So moving! However I wanted some kind of reprieve for Yun Lei! He saved the boy from an abusive father and was almost strangled to death himself. Still, there is the unfortunate desperate act of taking that nurse hostage. Somehow, I wanted Yun Lei to stay in the boy's life in some way. Oh well..
jin shijia is a great actor sad he didnt get that much publicity . its his own father who abuse him and youngster save him. oh my gosh i cried so hard this kids bring it out of me. i think i cried a bucket.
