Is the wavefolding section inspired by the serge wave multiplier? I guess one could implement the wavefolder and distorter with just one LM13700 and then just switch between the circuits. I am always asking myself what the circuits are inspired by. I guess a lot of them come from electronotes (I mean analog circuits from all the manufacturers in general) and Ken Stones website and of course a lot of other schematic online.
The wavefolder is indeed a serial wavefolder so same philosophy as the serge ones. The distorsion is a mix of different techniques. Those circuits use more then a single OTA as the dry signal is crossfaded with the wet signal at the very beginning of the potentiometer's travel.
