There is this really underrated place in seven kings called “Seven Kings Fish Bar” and it’s sooooo good. It’s actually had many fish and chips awards given to them, so it’s pretty busy. I guess it isn’t so underrated 😅

If you get chance, try battered hake instead of cod or haddock. Not all chippies offer it, but it's soooo good.
My local chippy is where Harry styles filmed that Gucci ad, you should go to a chippy takeaway where you go and order and then take it home and eat it, that’s more classic and the more typical way we have fish and chips, I don’t think I’ve ever had fish and chips from a restaurant
I always get fish and chips when we eat at a pub but it's just not as good as taking it home, or eating it on the beach!

Which place is that? The best one near me is bedders in small heath but is a half hour walk which means it'll never get home warm haha

Not always gloomy weather here, just have a lot of dramatic people in the UK lol (I'm in UK, born and raised btw). The summers are always super hot and tbh, I don't like it. Too many heatwaves last year.
Best fish and chips I ever had was in Cape Town. They use Snoek (Snake Mackerel), and the flavour is out of this world. When I last ate it, it was still being served in newspaper. Happy memories indeed!

Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had were in Penzance, Cornwall. Just a chippy right down the road from our Air BnB whose name I wish I could remember. But I do remember the crazy line out the door that was well worth the wait. And apparently they won the national fish and chips award! Felt so lucky to have accidentally stumbled upon it!
The winner? I must go.. I live in South East UK but never been to Cornwall before
True ive eating in a few Fish and chippies in Penzance all fantastic. There other ones in Cornwall as well that are very very good.
My best fish and chips were in a small village in Scotland called Stonehaven. Chips were fried in beef fat, fresh fried haddock and lots and lots of salt and malt vinegar…DELISH

These are Exactly the kind of places I'd be going if I was in London. Fish fries are one of my favorite dishes. I grew up eating them, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to them. I feel like they're overlooked at a lot of places in the US.
First thing I eat in UK and the last thing I eat before leaving - fish & chips. They’re good here in my city, there is a british couple with a fry shop here but always tastes better in UK.
Best fish and chips I've ever had. At the very end of the Pier in Monterey, California. The sign out front said "Fresh Fish". I asked the server, "How fresh is "fresh"> He said, "it was swimming this morning". It was amazing.

I had some fantastic fish and chips in Grimsby,thirty two years ago,with my best mate,rip and my sister and her college friend the fish was enormous.crispy golden batter!it's well worth learning to cook fish and chips!especially in this day and age!
Don't know about the UK, haven't been over there yet, but Spuds out on Alki in Seattle is really the best. They've been there forever and with good reason.
Here in India in my locality there is a small but nice cafe !!! There we can get a dish named 'fish n chips'. About 1 year ago I had first time tried that dish !!! Fish fries served with french fries and two nice dips !!! That was for the first time I got to know about this dish, later I came to found that its actually a British snack, its authentic to britain !!! Fact is those are not french fries rather simply called chips goes nice with the fish and yeah, I really love this unique dish as an Indian !!! 😁👍
In USA, it is called French fries. In Britain they are called chips. And the chips that we know are called crisps.
I love my vegan fish and chip shop called No Catch in Brighton, UK. They can serve the batter, gluten free, which is what I am so that's why I love them and it's honestly the best fish and chips I've ever had. The fish is so so crispy, juicy and tender. And the thick chips are actually crispy, not soggy like many places have.
So thats batter free fish free f n c ,s . Not sure thats legal
Best cod and chips was the hotel I worked at. Irish hotel. Polish chefs. American girl server. Among lots of other nationalities. I have to admit it was salty crispy crunchy Flakey and a little oily (but not a lot) which I love. So good. I’m hungry now. 😤

I live near St. Petersburg, FL. Right now, the best fish & chips I've had is at a place called " 3 Birds Tavern " in St. Pete. So so good ❤
I went to London waaaay back in 99 and we got fish and chips at this little restaurant in Victoria Station (I think it was). Had been there for a super long time and was very nice but small.... a fellow London-er we met while visiting suggested it to us!! It was amazing!! You will LOVE London!! I did!!
We sell fish n chips as a normal takeaway meal, you'll still find fish n chips in a restaurant too 😍 we squeeze lemon or salt and vinegar on the battered or crumbled fish, divine! If anyone here visits Wellington, go try Fresko's fish n chips in Kilbirnie 👌👌

Best fish n Chips are in Upton near Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. They are cooked in beef dripping and are absolutely amazing!!!

People constantly say British food is bad. As someone who has now lived here for a long time, I've never understood it. I definitely think the quality of the produce/ingredients especially considering the price was always good compared to other places. And it isn't the most fancy or flavourful food out there but it's simple and comforting. It's really nice to see a foreign food influencer genuinely enjoying British food.
I hate fish but the coating looks absolutely perfect !! Yum !! Id try it just b/c of that !!

Love your videos! I think you should try to make my favorite dish. It's called Morrocan chickpea and pumpkin stew. It's the best combination of spices I've ever had! There is an Indian version as well, called chhole chawal.
You need to try chip shop curry! You don't get it from restaurants only take out places. 😋

Kai Loki’s Hands down is the best fish & chips on the Big Island of Hawaii in south Ka’u!! They use fresh Ono fish aka Wahoo, A relative to king Mackarel fish! It's sooo good!!! Lots of malt vinegar, Lemon, House Tarter sauce and relish. Another yummy place for fish and chips is Royal Kona, The coconut Shrimp is bomb too! Kona inn is expensive but worth it too!!! 🐟🍟🍋
I wouldn't eat fish and chips by hand 😂. Looked super tasty though! I think it was just a (large) 1-person portion, and at least for me, the smaller half that you got would not have been enough! Good thing you had the seafood platter to supplement.
Fish and chips are usually eaten with the fingers in the uk. Certainly at home they are.
I used to like H. salt fish and chips...they were a chain in Southern California and they were supposed to be prepared the way they prepare them in the UK. I think they went out of business in the 90’s

If you like Turkish you should go to gokuzu it’s affordable and filling they you loads of free bread before your good comes and Turkish tea when you finish too so it’s deffo worth it

My favourite chip shop is Grosvenor F'sh Bar in Norwich, Norfolk. It's only 5 hours or so by car from Bath to there!
Best chish n fips is, according to The Hairy Bikers at least, in a sea side place in the North East of England called Seahouses. Seahouses is a large village on the North Northumberland coast in England. It is about 20 kilometres north of Alnwick, within the Northumberland Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's loads of cool old castles 🏰 up there too

Walnut Tree, just outside Milton Keynes, UK. There's a little chippy in a strip center near the Tesco Xpress that SLAYED. I really hope they're still there! While you're in Bath, make sure to try Bath buns and Sally Lun bread!

I don't have much experience, so my recommendation is kinda humble but the place that made me love fish n chips was Railroad Fish and Chips in Sacramento
I truly love a good fish and chips dinner. But it has to have really good tartar sauce and the best malt vinegar you could pour on your fish and chips, then I'm ready to go to town 😉
I just went to California for Thanksgiving recently, We (family) visited a Seafood Restaurant in Malibu with really good fish and chips. This place was found by my cousin, place is called Magic Seafood.

The aqua fish bar in maplewell are fantastic. In Skegness there are two chip shops next to each other called Tony’s fish and chips and also Ramsbotham’s fish and chips. These are the best spots in the uk
