Thank you! I’ve read other comments here that say that they don’t understand your translation or explanation of Pope Benedict’s statements regarding such. I disagree. I think this is one of the most concise translations from Italian to English. Pope Benedict’s statements lead me to believe he resigned the papacy in order offer his suffering for the Church. Possibly, also, to atone for his part in the sufferings of the Church. Ie: his participant in Vatican 11 and “ecumenism”! Great video. Chock full of insight!

What I believe Benedict was saying was that “the Pope will have much to suffer” refers not only to the suffering of the Pope but also to the church perhaps _because_ of the Pope.

This has been described by someone else...that perhaps the pope will see his errors in the fruits they bear among the laity and clergy but it will be too late.
That is called a chastisement that is allowed because of people offending God. Our Lady of Success (which is actually our Lady of the Good Purification). It’s also evidence of the ape of the Church and the great apostasy that has been prophesied

It is claimed that Cardinal Razinger remarked to bishop Ito of Japan that an investigation into the veracity of the message given to Sr Agnes Sasagawa in Akita was unnecessary as it was essentially the Third Secret of Fatima. Significantly the message of Akita was given on October 13th, 1973, the anniversary of the last apparition at Fatima.
I forgot to explain. "it is spoken" could be a cryptic hint that the third secret had been revealed in the message of Akita.

Thank you for looking at all the little ins and outs’ we miss or ‘they’ miss in their presentations about the third secret. I can never feel a certain ‘let down’ from Pope Benedict’ in not giving us the true Third Secret’. He did have the great privilege of reading it. All of it. Surely Our Mother, our Queen, our Mary ever Virgin’. Would have told us about Vatican ll. Why in the world would she NOT tell about the coming destruction of ours and her Sons Church, the only means of salvation on earth?

I listened to the entire video and we still can't figure out what was her thesis. I came out of the video knowing nothing more than I knew before. The thesis wasn't stated clearly in the beginning nor in the end... No disrespect, but we need very clear information not a academic lecture. Time is too short, Satan is working expeditiously, destroying souls and hope, and things need to be preached ardently and passionately, now. Milktoast academic lectures don't do it.

Cardinal Ratzinger said that the apparitions at Akita are essentially the third secret. Lots of chastisements at Akita. We did not get the whole thing in 2000.

He writes: "Howard Dee, former Philippine ambassador to the Vatican, revealed in a 1998 interview with Inside the Vatican that 'Bishop Ito was certain Akita was an extension of Fatima, and Cardinal Ratzinger personally confirmed to me that these two messages, of Fatima and Akita, are essentially the same.” God bless you.

The timidity of the Papacy re: Fatima is impossible to explain, as they took great pains to support it, to visit there, to keep the Russian church from being offended, from dodging the First Saturdays devotion....But, "he answered, and spoke to me, saying: This is the word of the Lord to Zorobabel, saying: Not with an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts."

Certainly, it is bewildering, bur I also believe that more Catholics most practice that which Our Lady commanded. It is a continual challenge to spread the Fatima Message when the men of the Church don't fully promote it, but we must always keep in mind (as I in the video said) her promise that her Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Pope will consecrate Russia, Russia will be converted, and an era of peace will be granted to the world (also rendered as "mankind").

Currently, there is no evidence that Pope Francis has read the Third Secret's Message (the words of Our Lady), although it is evident that he is familiar with the description of the Third Secret Vision. It is truly a mystery that he and previous popes who were supposedly dedicated to Our Lady and the Holy Rosary cannot bring themselves to take seriously Our Lady's Great Secret, the Miracle of the Sun which confirmed her Message, and her direct commands to the Pope to himself command and lead the collegial consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and to make a public act of reparation to the same Heart, followed by the papal promulgation the Five First Saturdays of Reparation to the Universal Church.

@arianegravenor7453 Yes, but the literal translation is (The) Evening Courier. Again, this is always the issue with translation. The word "post" conveys delivery of a message and today , in American English usage, it is a word more commonly used. We make a post online, the person who delivers mail to our home or business is now called a postal carrier ( i.e., a courier), etc. However, as I said in the video, to make my point, my translation was a literal one.

"[On June 13, 1917, Our Lady said,] `I will take Jacinta and Francisco [to Heaven] soon, but you, Lucia, are to stay here some time longer. Jesus wishes to make use of you in order to make Me known and loved. He wills to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. . To those who embrace this devotion, I promise salvation. These souls will be cherished by God, as flowers placed by Me to adorn His Throne.' . As Our Lady pronounced these last words, She opened Her hands and communicated to us, for the second time, the reflection of that same immense light. We saw ourselves in this light, as it were, immersed in God. . In front of the palm of Our Lady's right hand was a Heart encircled by thorns which pierced it. We understood that this was the Immaculate Heart of Mary, outraged by the sins of humanity, and seeking reparation."
“[On July 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima said,]: ‘Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say often, especially whenever you make a sacrifice: O Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.’
“As Our Lady spoke these last words, She opened Her hands once more, as She had done during the two previous months. The rays of light seemed to penetrate the earth, and we saw as it were a vast sea of fire. The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals. This vision lasted but an instant. How can we ever be grateful enough to our kind heavenly Mother, who had already prepared us by promising, in the first apparition, to take us to heaven. Otherwise, I think we would have died of fear and terror. Terrified and as if to plead for succor, we looked up at Our Lady, who said to us, so kindly and so sadly:
“‘You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wills to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the reign of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.’
“After the two parts [of the Secret] which I have already explained [i.e., the Vision of hell, and Our Lady's accompanying words], at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance! Penance! Penance!’ And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father.’ Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

The above text of the Third Secret Vision (of a "Bishop dressed in White") published on June 26, 2000, comprises 64 lines in Lucia’s handwriting. We know from both Bishop Venancio and Cardinal Ottaviani that the Third Secret text containing Our Lady's words (beginning, "In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved") contains only 25 lines. The Vision is clearly not the entirety of the Third Secret.
Much is known about the missing text, especially in light of the testimonies of many people who have been privileged to read it, and given also the course of events that has taken place since 1960 when the Secret was to have been published.
For one thing, we know that this text is written in the form of a letter (in contrast to the journal-entry style of the Third-Secret Vision published in June 2000). Lucia told Father Hubert Jongen in an interview on February 3, 1946,
"I communicated the third part IN A LETTER to the Bishop of Leiria."
We also know that the missing text contains the words of Our Lady (as opposed to Lucy's first-person account of the Third-Secret Vision). Father Joseph Schweigl, who was sent by Pope Pius XII to interrogate Lucia at her convent in Coimbra on September 2, 1952, confided to one of his colleagues at the Russicum that the Third Secret has two parts, one of which is the continuation of Our Lady's words as found in Lucia's Fourth Memoir:
"I cannot reveal anything of what I learned at Fatima concerning the Third Secret, but I can say that it has two parts: One concerns the Pope. The other, logically - although I must say nothing - would have to be the continuation of the words: ‘In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved.'"
We know, too, that the missing text predicts a crisis of faith WITHIN the Church, as opposed to the external attacks described in the Third-Secret Vision. As Cardinal Luigi Ciappi (who served as personal theologian for five successive Popes through a span of 40 years) explicitly affirmed in 1995 about the Third Secret, Our Lady foretold a crisis of faith within the Church which he went so far as to call the great apostasy (apparently the very "revolt" spoken of by St Paul in 2 Thes. 2: 3 as preceding the Antichrist's coming):
"In the Third Secret it is foretold, among other things, that the great apostasy in the Church begins at the top."
It is also reliably reported that the Third Secret contains an explicit warning against the Second Vatican Council and the Novus Ordo Mass. As Fr. Ingo Döllinger recently confirmed (and as he had privately made known to Fr. Paul Kramer more than ten years ago), Cardinal Ratzinger admitted to him that the vision published in June 2000 is not the entirety of the Third Secret; and that in the still-hidden text of the Secret, Our Lady warns explicitly against an evil council and against the scandal of changing the liturgy.

Since "is spoken" is in the passive voice, I don't understand it. We know Our Lady spoke to tell Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta the Third Secret. So did Pope Benedict XVI mean that someone else repeated it? If he meant that, why didn't he say who repeated it?
He said it (the Third Secret) is spoken. Since the Virgin gave the entire Great Secret to the Church via the three children, it is evident that (similar to the first part of the Secret), the last part (the Third Secret) is spoken and shown by the Virgin.
This makes more sense. As the 3 S is written on a single page.

Thank you for your question. There are two parts to the Third Secret, but only one part has been published, while Vatican authorities continue to deny that the other part exists.
The part that has been published is Sister Lucy's account of a Vision of a "Bishop dressed in White," that is, presumably of an anti-pope, and also of the true Holy Father and other faithful Catholics being martyred under a hail of bullets and arrows. We believe this to be a genuine part of the Third Secret.
The still-hidden part is the continuation of Our Lady's own words given in connection with that Vision, beginning "In Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved". This text is known to consist of about 25 lines, warning explicitly of an evil Council and changes in the liturgy, and describing the generality of Catholics being led into apostasy by the highest level of the Church's leadership. You would have to do as I did, and maybe more. Use the internet, track down articles on what the Pope said that day, and (if you can't translate the original Italian), hire at least two translators. Wishing you the best in your efforts!

The spirit of what Vatican II was supposed to be is still honorable. Making the Mass more accessible by allowing for the vernacular. Call and response for more activity from the laity. Even allowing people to feel free to lift their hands in praise when they genuinely feel the Holy Spirit.
The reality for many parishes are half to mostly empty pews with near one-third of those attending weekly believing Jesus is present.
Poor catchesis, wanting to keep up with the political narrative of the day, priests not having the right form/matter/intentions when celebrating Mass, taking away the onus on the believer that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow via removing the tabernacle from either the altar itself or near the altar and the communion rail, changing the Liturgy to be more in line with Protestants (not throwing shade, just an observation), placing academics of the faith higher than the mystery of the faith, allowing musicians to be closer to altar which is a distraction, putting good works ahead of faith, not encouraging a good examination of conscience and a good, frequent confession, and I’m sure a few more are failings post Vatican II. It’s a bit easier to understand how traditionalists can be a bit bitter.
It is my personal opinion that the Holy Father has his hands relatively tied by those who elected him, and he feels like he has to make good on it. It is my assumption that if these are times of the chastisement, then it would probably weigh quite heavily on the Holy Father when the Church is in true persecution.
