For auto cross racing, Wings and diffusers play a major role for downforce. They’re never meant for just looks/aesthetic. They absolutely have function. You would know if you have S2000 and race it on the tracks
@@simons3708 Since no one answered, depending on the size and angle of attack of the wing, you can begin to feel it anywhere from 50-70mph. What the guy that replied to you said is half true. They do play a major role in creating downforce. BUT, a lot of guys do just get them for looks.(I've asked plenty of 'car guys', a good few with huge wings. Very few have been to an autocross event let alone an actual track.) You won't see much benefit from a wing in Autocross; mainly full, high speed tracks. For some reason he seemed personally attacked from your question, wonder why lol.

The rear wing looks pretty flat (no angle), does it have a function or is it more for the looks?

Never drove with a wing. From which speeds do you start to feel? I would expect more angle of the wing to be more functional al lower speeds?
