Towerverse is a fantastic level with an experience of its own, so it certainly deserves a "legendary" label at least. I'm not sure what "mythic" is reserved for, but if it sets the standard to the likes of this level, then there's no reason it doesn't deserve it.
There are already incredible levels with the quality experience like this one. Such examples include Slash by JustPotatoNow, Otherside by ChrySpy, Tornado by AbstractDark, and Coaster Mountain by Serponge, so I'd say that Towerverse lies around that area, which is already a high praise.
I'm looking forward to more levels like these in the future!
As for the level itself, the creator claims it is "open world," so I'll analyze it a bit with that in mind.
Its structure strongly reflects the nature of the 2D Mario games it is inspired by. It contains multiple environments, fun secrets, interactions, a simple story, and optional challenges. Although, these games aren't necessarily considered "open world," even in those that allow you to choose what area to play first.
Therefore, I consider Towerverse as largely linear filled with lots of small fun stuff.
Tornado and Coaster Mountain are not even CLOSE to the quality Towerverse offers. Can't speak about the others because i don't know them, but this is a ridiculous comparison.

there is no way it deserves mythic, not even epic in my opinion. The decoration is the same quality as you would see in the beginning of 2.1. Way too much glow, using basic robtop assets. Also it really overuses the new shaders. The gameplay is also kinda bad and it doesn't have enough checkpoints. Only impressive thing about it is it's length.

My only complain is that the towerverse isn't actually open world. It's very linear, sure there are secrets but that doesn't count as an open world.

I think The Towerverse is on the brink of legendary and mythic; it is extremely high quality, but it looks somewhat generic for a lot of it.
So it sets the standard for future mythic levels which is amazing, as you can get one a bit easier now

Rating system has been biased for a long time so I'm not surprised that the first mythic level gets controversial whether it's deserved mythic or not. I know the creator puts lots of effort making the level, just like the best creators out there.

I'm still not used to how 2.2 levels use the basic editor blocks. Throughout 2.1, all the popular (featured/epic rated) levels shifted from using basic editor blocks to making custom block designs or implementing other block deco methods. By the end of 2.1, it was seen as lazy to just use the default selection of blocks. Now in 2.2, all of that stigma is gone, and we have levels that exclusively use basic editor blocks receiving the fabled mythic rating. Idk if it's a bad thing, I just find it weird.

The gampelay is amazing,but the deco is meh,its still really good but the way rob and ontgers hyped mythyc rating being "the absolute most, amazing level in the game" this left kinda of a bad taste in ny mouth, especially when rhere are so many other levels that deserve it.
I just really think, white space by Xender game deserved legendary

I think people are only saying that because of the fact that it uses pixel presets, and not custom-made ones.
Yeah, it might've gotten overused in levels but in this one it feels natural and also all the effects and the gameplay are remarkable

Definitely a mythic its a full on game in of itself you can tell a lot of effort went into it and its narrative is incredibly fun to follow, the level design and game design are incredible, truly professional and well polished, its readable, utilises every effect added into 2.2 perfectly and seamlessly, its the perfect platformer level, its definitely something I could see roptop himself doing if he dedicated his time and effort towards a long narrative driven level, I love how the difficulty whilst intense is also doable and everything works as intended, I especially love the creators utilisation of music and sound effects, that aspect of level design is way more important than people often give it credit for and he 100% nailed it in every respect, so props to him

the level was awesome, It felt very "rob-toppy". I feel like the mythic rating is really meant to be for something special, a meaningful storyline, unique mechanics, and good visuals, something the towerverse excels at in my opinion.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Le Chateau Magique. That level deserved it 10x more than the towerverse, and it didn’t even get legendary.
@@squibster81 again, We literally do not know what the mythic rating even means, only that it's reserved for levels Robtop finds extraordinarely special. We can't pick what does or doesnt deserve a mythic rating, as it's not just "Legendary but better"

I think the insane scale of this level and the amount of detail and work present in the level is definitely not something we will see again anytime soon. Definitely deserves the mythical rating.
Bro, people been building plat. levels like this one since 2.2 came out. The Towerverse is the most recent one, mostly because creator used stock textures. I'm sure we at least this year will see many levels like the Towerverse, but with much cooler designs like Knots, Desticy or Xender game do

People shouldn't be mad that a level gets a higher rating than expected, instead they should be happy that Robby The Toppard has blessed them. It also means, that you don't have to make a super ultra realistic 4k textures level just to get verified coins.

I believe that the towerverse is subpar in terms of decoration, but the gameplay and the sheer lenght of the level is mythic worthy.

The Towerverse might feel like it shouldn't be Mythic at first, but its probably because its that its the very first Mythic rating so far so it might feel out of place for now, but in the future that might change. For now the level definetly deserves Mythic to me, it outstands so much in the sea of rated levels.

Btw i think one of the conditions for mythic rate could be that the level have to be very optimized and run on most devices, kinda makes sense to me because why rate a level so high if people cant even open it? Maybe also robtop will rate levels mythic if they have some kind of story to tell, i, personally would hate to see a mythically-rated puzzle level

Honestly i feel like mythics should be awarded at the end of each year, to a certain amount of levels (being promoted to mythic) and having a cap on the amount each year
