Beautiful tone and sustain......with a gorgeous look overall!!! Why wouldn't it being made from a church pew......it came full o the spirit!!! lo. Nice pick'n , nice guitar. Thanks , ron
Damn, awesome sounding guitar and lets take nothing away from the extreme talent of The player, guitars always sound better in the hands of a master player!!
Gorgeous sounding guitar! You play so well you bring out the best in it. I've never heard a chestnut guitar before. That and the Carpathian spruce torrified top are a great match.
Depending on how old that wood is, I’m wondering if it will sweeten much more if it’s “old growth” wood (as we call it in Minnesota)? The reason I say that is because it has likely had a lot of time to age. That said, of course it will age after it was manufactured. Through my little phone speakers, this guitar sounds AMAZING, especially for a smaller guitar! Props to the luthier, but also props to you for your fine playing! You use something a lot of us don’t use nearly enough… what’s that called again? …oh, yeah, DYNAMICS! Your touch on that guitar is something special! Thanks to the TH-cam algorithm for coming up with this video. Subscribed! (And yes, PLEASE do some lessons for/with us!)
Sounds good! Nice picking too. I loved your Wildwood Flower...so many people try to get too fancy with that tune. Dropped D sounds great the bass is sweet! At times, that guitar almost sounds like it has reverb. Love the Dm tune!
Absolutely incredible guitar and playing. Love the Celtic bits you throw in there as well. I’m not sure if you know Salt Spring or not by John R. but I bet it would sound great on that thing.
Bro! Thy chops are righteous! Great looking guitar there. Man, if I was only as handsome as you can play. Whew, the church ladies would never leave me alone.🤣 Just amazing.
What a strong sound. I'd love to hear it behind some Stanley style banjo playing. And i think wether a certain particular instrument draws a person to play is really case by case, player to player issue. I've played friends instruments that i thought were less than great, but that they played hours and hours a day
Well sir thru the speakers on this phone to be honest it sounds like every high end guitar I've ever herd amazing that just goes to show everybody it's not always about the name on the head stock.

The pick is what's making the difference. Thick pick gives it the really good tones you are hearing. Plus you know how to drive a guitar. Most people don't understand how to drive a guitar. A great guitar. The only thing I notice about it is it is one of those guitars that is stiff and would just feel hard to play . I think it is because of the top wood and neck set on the upper end. I do like the guitar. Very nice. In fact a great guitar.
That was some cool licks. I just found this video and subscribed. I have not had a chance to see your other videos yet but I am hoping you have some guitar lessons on some of those licks.

I think it sounds great in your hands. Whoever built that guitar has a lot to do with how good it sounds as well. A nice well rounded guitar with good tone.
Yamaha made the FG-15 that was that size... No where near the quality of build but also a bigger sounding guitar than the size would make you think.... Really love your example
Remember, all steel strings, hug the guitar for at least 10 minutes, toughing both ends of all the strings. Once all the strings are near your body temp and the temp of all strings is the same end to end, then the true voice comes and better intonation. All steel tuners to, same end to end, then the true voice. A fine guitar.
The guitar sounds awesome great job. One cool thing did you hear at the beginning when hit a note and moved the guitar closer to the mic there was like a flanger effect from the guitar moving closer to the mic and then back. But great job

Almost nothing today is made out of solid wood. Rather, it’s composed of particleboard, OSB, MDF, photo veneer, and, if you’re lucky, actual plywood. Old, solid wood repurposed is the best use of old furniture, shelving, doors, and even building structure like beams which were once made of old growth hardwood. None of that valuable material should ever end up in a landfill or destroyed in some other way. It’s a hundred times better than new wood.

Back panel effect has been most intriguing, the pitch of the back panel will influence notes on the fretboard causing sympathetic loudness for those notes, so we make the back panel low down to E.
If we get a sympathetic wolf tone, we want it to be influencing the bass only.
Thumb tapping the back panel, whatever tone it produces that will be the loudest on the fretboard and that can be annoying.
