General Hospital Weekly Spoilers Sept 9-13: Molly Explodes and Carly Works Brennan

General Hospital spoilers show that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finds herself under scrutiny. This comes after Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) report to Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that they witnessed Alexis disposing of a gun. Meanwhile, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is left stunned, possibly due to Holly Sutton's (Emma Samms) scam. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are closing in on Lucky's location, while Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is investigating a mysterious man named Isaiah.
More GH spoilers show tha Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) insists Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) accompany her during a search warrant at Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) place. Jason, who is not part of the warrant, is found with a murder weapon in his pocket. In another turn of events, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) confronts her mother Alexis, while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) seeks help from Brennan.
More General Hospital spoilers continue as Anna and Jordan delve into separate cases. Alexis' daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) remains a suspect, and Carly receives an update from Brennan about Rick's motives. The week concludes with Max Scorpio making an arrest, Anna confronting Brennan, and Sonny making a promise.

Why does Anna hate Sonny all of a sudden? They have maintained a friendly relationship for years. When she shot Charlotte, Sonny was the only one supporting Anna. He even gave her protection. Anna is a hypocritical jerk because she’s in love with and helped a criminal escape.

Sonny helped Anna & Valentin when Victor wanted her dead. He gave them a safe house to use and transportation. She obviously doesn't recall this or maybe the writers want us to forget the history???
She has a loooong history of defending/covering for criminals: Duke, Peter, Valentin just to name a few. But she doesn't remember all the times Sonny has aided her.

Anna is very ungrateful to Sonny when he came to her after the publicity over the double spy news from years ago. He was a good friend then. When Anna was being tormented by then unknown danger, Sonny assigned some body guards to keep her safe full time. I know his meds problems left her baffled but he is a crime boss & she always knew that. Sonny & Anna were so close at one time that rumors went around that there might be a romance. She was close to Jason when he returned but only when he was serving her purpose. Now she has a warrant that includes him. Making Anna so disloyal & self-centered is not the Anna we all knew & loved.

This plot reintroducing Lucky, with Sidwell and the assassin... the international intrigue (can the WSB be far behind) it's so typically GH. Reminds me of when I first use to watch... with Anna and Robert and Holly ... back in the 1980s.

I'd like to see Nell brought back, but the original actress. Willow's twin sister, Nina's broken heart. Could be good. She, like Spencer, (he with his lovey dove trinket) floated off down the river... into oblivion, or into episodes unknown, as yet unwritten.

One thing thing i didn’t get was how was Dex went with Anna to Suuny place. That’s a conflict of interest Dex could have took the gun I know he didn’t.
Anna didn't mind putting Dex in danger by asking him to Sonny's search. Dex told Sonny awhile back in the park that he was not being a cadet to flip on Sonny and Sonny said all was good. Now Anna puts Dex in a position of going after Sonny. It's not a good move, it's selfish.

I really didn’t think Sonny would actually kill Cates but he did. John Cates had basically turned into a rouge crooked Agent. Anna needs to step down because she knew everything Valentine did but she loves him and I believe she is feeling guilty for hurting his out of control daughter Charlotte. Rick is also very shady,he is up to no good. I hope Liz doesn’t get involved with him again.
Brennan reminds me of Robert, Sean Donnaly, Anna, Frisco in the good old WSB days. If he wants Jason to work with them, he should make a move to show good faith and help someone Jason cares about before Jason has to start the job. That would make Jason a partner and not under threats like Jagger used against him. He could do that work and still keep up with Sonny. Jason should also be a partner to Sonny and not just taking orders.

I'm sure Dex feels good about his police cadet job after Sonny was very ungrateful towards Dex after Dex risked his life for him. Off meds or not, it would hurt. But Dex had a warmth and confidence when working Sonny's security. I would like to see Dex & Jason work together. That would free Jason up to do bigger things with Sonny & WSB work. The WSB would be a good power to owe favors if Sonny & Jason thought about it. Sonny needs a fix it around at all times.

Since Valentin isn't coming back. I guess that storyline got dropped too because Anna was looking for him and Charlotte and the next thing you know the writers have Anna on a completely different storyline.
And now Laura and Kevin are looking for Lucky instead of trying to find Valentin and Charlotte as well. Another change from the writers. They can't seem to keep these storylines straight at all. It's driving me crazy. It's hard to follow a storyline when they are constantly changing them right in the middle of them.
Lastly, I don't think Anna knows what the heck she's doing. She just told Jason how proud of him she was and now she's doing a complete 180 and is halling him back into the PCPD? Why? Just because Jason was at Sonny's Penthouse? This makes absolutely no sense to me.
Also, I am really pissed that they are making Lois change her accent. There is nothing wrong with it. Does GH have something against people from NEW YORK CITY!😡 Lois's accent is what makes her character so great. Why is GH always messing with things that doesn't need to be messed with. Are they trying to lose fans on purpose? Do they want the show to be cancelled?

And TJ was going to keep the baby away from Kristina once she handed it over to him and Molly, so TJ and Molly are no better than Kristina in terms of "stealing." Yes, Kristina went into this to give the baby to Molly and TJ, but Molly & TJ certainly didn't seem grateful---they were nagging, unreasonable, and micro-mananging toward Kristina. If I were Kristina, I'd want something better for my child too than those two.

Oh man, where do I even start with this? The whole situation with Sonny and the impending prison time feels like a culmination of everything that’s been wrong with *GH* lately. I mean, Sonny finally being taken down for the murder of John “Jagger” Cates? It’s about time! Sure, Cates was a total piece of work, using Sonny’s daughter, Kristina, as a pawn in his twisted game. That whole plotline was just the last straw for me. Who does that? Using someone’s child just to get back at them? It’s downright despicable, and while I can’t condone murder, I can’t say I felt too bad when Jagger met his end.
But let’s talk about *General Hospital* itself. I used to love this show. It was a staple in my life, a guilty pleasure, a source of drama and entertainment. But ever since the 2020s post-COVID era hit, it feels like everything has just gone downhill. The writing is so lackluster, the plots are recycled, and the characters have become caricatures of their former selves. It’s like the magic is gone! The storylines lack depth and the emotional punches that used to hit hard are now just flat and predictable. Honestly, it’s like they’ve forgotten what made the show so great in the first place.
And don’t even get me started on Frank Valentini and Liz Korte! If this show does end up getting the ax, I’ll be pointing fingers squarely at them for ruining what was once a beloved series. They had such a rich history to work with, and yet they chose to go down this path of mediocrity. It’s infuriating! I find myself cringing at the new episodes, and I can’t help but think that they’re tarnishing the legacy that the show built over the decades.
If I’m being honest, I’ve been retreating to the old episodes from the 2000s to 2015-2019 just to get my fix of what *GH* used to be. Those were the golden years! The writing was sharp, the characters were complex, and the drama was actually engaging. I miss those days so much. Rewatching those episodes reminds me of why I fell in love with the show in the first place. The new era? It can kiss my ass for life. I’m done with it. I refuse to invest my time in a show that doesn’t respect its own legacy.

... I feel the shows a being a bit better lately myself, if over the top.(Kristina face-hugging the earth in pouring rain... ) But I know what you mean. A soap operas history, it's legacy, is the thing that makes it most unique. But too often the writers.. changing writers.. ruin that, fail to stay true to characters histories etc.

I can’t wrap my head around Anna going after Sonny, Anna is no better than Cates using her badge as Police Commissioner to go after Sonny, when she let Valentine go instead of having the FBI take Valentine down. Anna should not be the Police Commissioner she is a Disgrace to the Badge. I don’t know why Jason doesn’t tell Sonny, Carly, and Diane that Anna let a Criminal go Free. It bothers me to see how and what a Hypocrite Anna really is, she is choosing to go after Sonny, but it ok to go after Sonny, I am sick of Anna, the writers needs to remove Anna from her position and the entire PC needs to know what Anna did

I'm upset with is the writers, there is no reason for Anna to be after Sonny, by now she knows that Sonny was off his meds, which was the reason that he was acting the way he has been for months, before then Anna acted like he was one of her best friends, so it's the writers that I'm upset with!
I'm not being critical so don't everybody get crazy on me but I have to tell it the way I feel I watch this show for over 50 years the storyline of Christina falling out of the window and losing the baby was the worst storyline in years they wasted 9 months of a bunch of stupidity between a half a dozen people then had a funeral as if the child was around for years it was just so poorly done nobody falls out of hotel window that easy anywhere anytime
As a mother of a child lost full term yeah we have normal funerals to say goodbye to our children. To diminish the loss because you did not have years with them is both ignorant and cruel.
