Hi chaps - love your channel. Have always wondered what that stream of water coming form an anchor port is ? Where is it coming from and why is it being dumped into the harbour? Does anyone know? Thanks Rich
According to the Chief Engineer on DFDS Suecia Seaways a couple of years ago, they always leave one of the deckwash seawater cocks open, to prevent the pump impellor running dry. The hawsepipe is an easy choice. Sounds reasonable!
