Wore this to a wedding and got so many compliments. More than I ever got on my hair down- that takes me hours. If you are good at braiding your own hair, you can make this very fancy. Make sure to pull out a lot! I’m going to wear this more often in summer. Just braid few days old hair and wash the front pieces 😊😊😊
Literally life saver. Was running late for an event and so glad I remembered your tutorial. Although not ideal, did it in the car as a passenger in five minutes 😂. It worked.
I have naturally kinky curly hair and I did this hairstyle for a more elegant look than my regular wash n go’s. This is now my go to for an updo! Quick, easy, classy. It looks like you put SO much effort into it but it’s so simple. My hair is a little past my shoulders when curly and stretched but would still work if longer or shorter. Thank you so much for sharing!
I cannot believe it!!!! I DID IT!!! I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to my hair! I can French braid but it never looked right…or like it is supposed to. My hair is the same length and cut as your model, so I never knew what to do with the shorter part at the back of the neck. BRILLIANT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! LOVE IT!
Whenever I get my hair done for something, I always end up in a comatose state because all the touching and manipulating my hair and gentle tugging knocks me out. Watching this stylist working the hair would put me to sleep that I would never wake up from. I'm getting sleepy watching her manipulate the hair, lol. The finished product looks absolutely gorgeous. Thank you.
I've been growing out my pixie cut during the covid lockdowns. The trick you use to handle the short bits in the back is brilliant! Trying this up do today!!
The funny thing is that that length gives you the possibility for updos that you would normally expect to be done with long hair. Are used to have hip-long hair and was not able to do any updo because of the weight of my hair. Now I'm growing out my hair from a pixie cut into a short bob and I'm much more able to do updos that look really like "long hair styles" that I used to do with my really very long hair.
This hairo is amazing!! And what a FABULOUS option for us with short hairto make it look so full and have those guessing whether our hair is long or short! Wondeful, fast easy and effortless! I give this 10 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I know it's an updo that's supposed to be for fancy occasions but I'm planning on using this throughout the summer when I don't want to just do a bun :D it looks so nice and secure so I think I will feel good and it will stay while I chase my kids around all day, lol. Thank you for this!
THIS LADY IS SO AMAZING AT HAIR, IM WORRIED SHE SOLD HER SOUL TO DEVIL. AND THE GORGEOUS WOMAN SHE WORKS ON. THEY ARE ALWAYS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE LAST WWWTTTFFF
If you can, please do a tutorial for fine, thin (not thinning, just thin) hair. I probably have half the amount of hair she has volume wise so braids (okay not just braids) are difficult. :)
I was just about to comment with the same request.. I would love to make all these beautiful hairdos, but my hair is simply too fine and braids just looks pathetic :)
I have the same problem. My hair isn't thinning, it's just thin and sparse naturally. I have zero volume. Hair styles like braids never look as full as I see online no matter how much I fluff it. I guess us folk with thin hair are just hopeless.
🌟Brilliant🌟 All these years I looked like I rolled out of the “80”s…where every hairstyle (IMO) so unrealistic and way to perfect! So happy I found this video. I loved it..your accent is beautiful. My grandparents were from Scotland and some words you used we don’t in the States but I understood all of them😊. “A bit” Omgosh I love it!!! All UK’s accents are beautiful. I’m now subscribed and a devoted fan. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. From across the pond Janis (aka Lass) x
Thanks for this tutorial. I cut my hair after an accident thinking it would be easier to style, only to discover I couldn't do my usual updos. Now I see that you've made other short hair updo videos. Thank you.
The model is so stunning and has such subtle movements, I thought she was CGI for a second! Amazing updo, I think this just saved my hair for my school formal.
Beautiful! I love the way you explained the steps and filmed this. I have a wedding I'm attending in August that this will be perfect for. I have medium length hair, so hoping this will work.
just today my dumbass assistant principal told me off for having my hair down when its literally not even that long, so I'm glad I found this. Thank you for helping my hair not look dumb asf
My neighbor had a pixie cut with long pieces in the front and she wanted a voluminous slicks back style for prom. When were playing around with her hair I did something very similar on the top of her head, like a voluminous braided Mohawk kind of thing. If your hair is that short you might have to cheat on the braid though. What i did was place the hair like a braid and on it in place. Then pin in leftover hair like she did in this for added texture. Very pretty. She ended up going with a fully slicked back look the day of, but i liked the faux braid one. I've been doing the little pony on the bottom for years, exec with longer hair, you could braid that and play around with buns on the bottom. Once you get the basics down the options are endless. Just play with it. So simple, but people think it's crazy complicated. I've even done faux braid thing when i don't feel like actually braiding. Twist pieces and pin them crisscrossed like shoe laces. So easy, but so complicated looking. This video explains the basics well. Take it and expand
I love how your showed how to put the bend in on the face framing pieces. That will help me so much when I go to style my hair. I think I can get it right now. Also I would love a naturally curly hair tutorial for those of us cursed with the curls. Obviously when you're able to get a model in. I know we're still dealing with that nasty bug out there. Love from Florida! 💖💖💖
This has to be one of the most beautiful short styles I've ever seen. My hair is black and a bit shorter but I'm going to try this for my boyfriends graduation! Thank you so much!❣
Love this style. My hair is this length so it's great to see an updo I can do myself. I miss my updos (never cutting my hair again) lol. Great video. Thanks so much.
The model is exactly how I imagined Fleur Delacour from the Harry Potter series, just with short hair. That is to say, super pretty! This updo is also great. I have curly hair that always gets flattened, stretched out, and frizzy overnight, even with a satin pillowcase. So I'm always looking for updos to wear on non-wash days.
Looks very pretty . I’ll have to try it out . My issue is I have some shorter bits due to my hair being badly damaged . So it’s hard to do anything cute to mine aside from wearing it down or curled
I cannot recoment this style enough, I did this yesterday and I felt so good! Mine turned out a bit less loose because my hair is fine but I loved it anyway, it looked classy and elegant and that bun underneat really added a nice bump of volume at the back. I used volumising mouse, volumising dry shampoo and I curled my hair before and that helped loads with keeping everything in place and adding body 😁
Hello Beth. I watch your vids for braiding hair and I loved this one because you done something I have never seen done which never occurred to me to do at all. The small bun underneath. I am wondering if you could please could create a style for medium length, fine, thin and thinning hair on top? I do my sister's hair whom is in hospice care at home for a terminal illness and really struggle with the top because of the thinning. I so appreciate you, what you do and your channel! Much love from North Carolina! 💕
Hi Ms Sweet Heart ❤️ Hair I really enjoyed watching the video anybody can wear this I love the face framing, it can be done with straight, wavy, and soft braids. You gave me a good idea. Thank you 🙏
Очень подробно и доступно показали! Без всяких лишних бла бла ! Супер! Обязательно попробую на дочке, у неё как раз такая длинна волос! 👍

Literally life saver. Was running late for an event and so glad I remembered your tutorial. Although not ideal, did it in the car as a passenger in five minutes 😂. It worked.
And of course you did it all alone?!
Exactly my thoughts
5 minutes on your one in a car. Yeah right! 😂
You misuse the word Literally. You would not die without this hair style.
@@1whitkat get a life.
Ending the braid earlier and already having the lower part up is genius! It looks so elegant!! Thank you!

Only for course hair . Hahaha
Looks gorgeous, and straightforward instructions, too. But I could never achieve this alone!
Stunning gorgeous model
I have unbelievably thick hair for a 63 year old woman and this is one of the few updos that actually work for my hair! Thank you!
I cannot believe it!!!! I DID IT!!! I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to my hair! I can French braid but it never looked right…or like it is supposed to. I do this updo for every wedding I go to! It’s easy and always looks great.
I think it’s super simple, I’m 62 and have been French branding my hare for years!
Did this for my daughter in 15 minutes for prom. I have ZERO hair skills and it turned out great. Thank you for posting this!
That is awesome!
I've been growing out my pixie cut during the covid lockdowns. The trick you use to handle the short bits in the back is brilliant! Trying this up do today!!
This hairstyle is perfect for summer! Thanks for the tips! 🌞
I love the way your hair gets styled, and the colour is beautiful 🎉
Great extra pcs added in the canvas as well 😮is thicker. Looks more voluptuous

@Holden Deshawn definitely, have been using Flixzone for since november myself :)

Troppo lungo il discorso e stancante
I just did it! It looks great! Thank you ❤❤

Her hair is beautiful. Looks so elegant.
Thankyou so much 🥰
That is Brilliant! I had No idea this was a braid. This is literally perfect for a bridesmaid with short hair. Amazing!!! Thank you so much.
Look at Gabi socializing in the community!😉😘😬🙌🏻
I could watch it 1,000 times and would not get it. These videos make me feel stupid.
Oh thank you so much! I'm growing out a low undercut and I've been wearing a dutch braid so I'll give this a go.
Thank you, this hairstyle is gorgeous for shoulder length hair!! I've tried this a couple times and can actually do it on myself.
This hairo is amazing!! And what a FABULOUS option for us with short hairto make it look so full and have those guessing whether our hair is long or short! Wondeful, fast easy and effortless! I give this 10 stars!!

I've got a black tie event tonight, so I'm going attempt this ❤❤

Step by step directions, you've got a complicated & stunning look and, it's so easy! You are a genius!!
That little bun idea is genius for the wispy bits!
Beauuuuutiful! ❤

Wow absolutely fab looks so simple must give it a try x
I love this! I wish these were hairstyles I could do on my own hair.
Gorgeous!
wow this is so beautiful. The model, the updo, the instructions, all are perfect. Thank you so much for using a model with short thin hair. A+

This is such a cute style! I don't know how it would work on natural African American short hair but I'm sure as hell gonna try it!! :)
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe blow the hair out press it but do this hairstyle a day or two later when the hair gets a little volume back
That is beautiful! I would like to try it but I don't have as much hair as your model.
This has to be one of the most beautiful short styles I've ever seen. My hair is black and a bit shorter but I'm going to try this for my boyfriends graduation! Thank you so much!❣

I’m doing another short hair tutorial next week too 😊❤️
I realized, after cutting my hair that I only like wearing my hair In updos lol
Simple but elegan
Very pretty

What a naturally beautiful model.
Hi Ms Sweet Heart ❤️ Hair I really enjoyed watching the video anybody can wear this I love the face framing, it can be done with straight, wavy, and soft braids. You gave me a good idea. Thank you 🙏
I love the idea to curl the front parts and then pin them up...I can do this! Thanks!
Omg! Beautiful. Can't believe how eady this is!
I know I'm still young but... I hope this channel is still alive once I have kids of my own, I can't wait to do their hair like this!
Beautiful hair, I luv this style & you explain it simply. Wonder if it’s much harder doing my own hair.
Glad you liked it Amanda 😊
Your model would look beautiful with any hairstyle but thank you for the French braid plus.
Love.. looks dramatic yet elegant and refreshing! 😊
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely beautiful and you make it look so easy! I will give it a go!
I absolutely love it! Will try that one on myself
She does look much more lovely after the hair styling!
Woooow❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love it . I wish my hair didn’t instantly reject the pins .
Flip them around, maybe that helps?
so beautiful and so impractical when you don't have someone to do it for you
Agreed. Can't do it myself, and nobody in my family can french braid.
Yeah I wouldn't call this an easy updo! I could never do this on myself.
All your models are so gorgeous 😍😍😍
The hairstyle looks so sophisticated beautiful. ✨😍
Thank you!! 😊
idky but i cant help but think a Spice Girl is giving me a tutorial 😆 i adore her accent
Perfect...now the question is how can we do it perfectly to ourselves?!
just accept is not gonna be perfect. but still worth it
this looks beautiful. i have a wedding to go to so i should have enough time to perfect this look! 😊
omg this reminds me of ancient roman hairstyles for women. LOVE IT
