- “โซ่” (ดัง ณัฎฐ์ฐชัย) นักศึกษารัฐศาสตร์สาขาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศชั้นปีที่ 3 มีความฝันอยากไปเรียนต่อต่างประเทศด้วยการชิงทุนจากการแข่งขันโต้วาที แต่ก็ถูกเพื่อนสนิทอย่าง “แพท" (หลุยส์ ธณวิน) และ “กต" (เอเจ ชยพล) สบประมาทว่าโซ่ทำไม่ได้ เพราะแม้แต่การบอกรักคนที่แอบชอบมา 3 ปี อย่าง “นิตา” (เจมี่ จุฑาพิชญ์) ยังไม่กล้า จึงเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของแผนการจีบนิตา แต่แค่โซ่คนเดียวคงไม่รอด แพทจึงแนะนำให้ไปถาม “โจ๊ก” (จุง อาเชน) ซึ่งเป็นแฟนเก่าของนิตา แต่มีข้อแลกเปลี่ยนที่โซ่อาจต้องใช้ใจเดิมพันไม่รู้ตัว ปฏิบัติการจีบพร้อมแผนลับซ่อนเร้นจึงเริ่มขึ้น มาลุ้นและติดตามได้ใน “วาระซ่อนเร้น Hidden Agenda”

teared up watching zo expressing himself to joke. imagining how exhausted he has been mentally, physically. the way joke hugs him afterwards saying zo is making him cry too, that really feels like joong himself. must have pain him to see dunk crying. even i couldnt hold my tears when he started sobbing 😭
Joke is the real MVP of this episode. The way he simply suggested the encouragement to mom and got Zo to hear words he's been waiting for for years - priceless. He went out of his way to get Zo what he needed from the person he needed it. That's true support right there.

I hate seeing Zo feeling like he's a disappointment to his Mom and when he Broke down in tears" i tried my best Joke, i did" that hurts a lot 😭Joke literally slapped Zo's Mom with those words" he might want so encouragement from you" Zo was even surprised his Mom hugged him 😅that a boyfriend everyone deserves ♥️.
Zo’s mother planted the seed of greediness over an award on his mind, so he was working so hard to give her the award. It wasn’t even wanting it for himself but for her, as he wanted to make her feel so proud, as he wanted her to look at him as her son. He felt jealous of her bond with that one student, so he worked hard to emulate that person her mom was proud of. This is so sad, because he has always had an image for her, as his mom doesn’t even know the real Zo 😭 you really tried your best, Zo. Joke is telling him what he needs to hear. He does love Zo so much 🥺
Joke was so sweet. But truth be told, while his mom did press him to be the "best", we saw that from the studying scene, it doesn't mean she didn't love him or was cold or wasn't proud of him. When she hugged him, it was like....well of course I'm proud of you! It was an extremely sweet and loving hug, not at all something she felt compelled to do based on what Joke said. She wrote congratulations in the text to him. I'm a mom and (a teacher) and sometimes kids are just dumb. No offense to Zo. Because she was gushingly proud of her student, doesn't have necessarily anything to do with how she felt about her son. Kids also make ups stories in their heads, and Zo seems likely to be the kind of person. Keeping everything in. His mom clearly loves him and just wants the best for him. But... he's also practically an adult, so I'm glad that he can take a breath, recalibrate, and accept the love and support from other people in his life, namely his new boyfriend. (How's that for a whole ass paragraph?)

Zo's mum finally telling him how proud she is of him got me good. I teared up immediately and were so happy for Zo. And I was stunned about the nonchalance Joke had with Zo’s mum. This was a great way to propose how Zo feels without telling directly. SUCH A GOOD PLOT, cause it is all so relatable. I love that this series isn’t over after the Main Couple got set on each other - instead they taking us down an entire family bonding route and I love every mile of it. ♥
We stan non toxic series,this is one of them....ugh all of the characters are just so beautiful I even feel happy for Nita though she deserved it too..and Zo really did his best andddd the way I somehow got emotional when Zo's mom hugged him......ughhhh that scene was just so pure and beautiful? Also even though Joke knew it from the start what happened to Zo he waited for Zo to open up himself and he *always* stayed by his side comforting him makes this series even more beautiful....GMMTV we need more JoongDunk series(I'm not crying)ig.
Joong Dunk's performances as Joke Zo on this episode are breathtaking! Especially each time that Dunk playing Zo's complicated emotions very well! Proud proud proud!!! ♡

Zo feeling like a dissapointment to his mom was so hard! I love how Joke listens to him openly without any judgement and is there for Zo to be able to express himself freely. I think that is something Zo hasn't truly felt he could do.
And well done Joke! When Zo's mom asked Joke if her son was hiding anything I was a bit worried that Joke would say too much which could be seen as a betrayal to Zo. But I shouldn't have worried! Joke handled that flawlessly. "He might want encouragement from you" That was such a simple statement with such profound impact. Love how mom realized it immediately and gave her son exactly was he has needed from her.
Joke's love for Zo is unparalleled! Both have come a long way in their relationship and have settled into an easy, communicative and beautiful love!
When zo broke down in tears, I was also crying rivers 😭😭 I feel so bad for him. Zo thinking he dissapointed his mom is heartbreaking 😢 My boy really did gave it all.

Another nice gesture surely will be cheering Zo up ♡ "He was exhausted earlier. He might want some encouragement from you."

I think this whole time, Zo's mom never even realized how she was making her son feel. I appreciate that the moment Joke told her Zo could use some encouragement from her, she immediately thought over her actions for a few seconds, and realized she was neglecting him, and immediately corrected her mistakes, rather than stay stubborn and continue to withhold from him. Some parents stay stubborn, never wanting to be wrong. I worried she'd be like that because of hos hard she had been on him about winning, but she was smart enough to realize her mistakes pretty quickly, once it was brought to her attention, and immediately changed her harmful behavior for her sons happiness. Lot's of parents make mistakes with their kids, but I feel like more than most are never willing to change their ways. They always want the kids to be the ones to change. So I now can approve of Zo's mom, because she didn't hesitate, to do the right thing by her son once she knew there was a problem.

As an educator (not to mention a parent who is an educator) the one thing you should never do is compare one student or child's learning style or ability with another. The perfect storm for resentment. Children remember that more than anything. Just like a bullied victim remembers the bully for the rest of their lives.

Just how much mentally affected Zo really is. He was pressured by his mom to outshine, his crush fooled him into confession which also caused a wedge between him and his mom not to mention he never dared to ask anyone out in fear if the history gets repeated....and then Joke comes along to help him woo Nita which was all a lie just to date Zo....which Joke didn't bother to explain until Zo found out himself. I feel so sad for Zo.
Joke's approach to win Zo's heart might have been manipulative, but he genuinely cares for Zo more than himself. Like he is always keeping an eye on Zo...he can tell even the slightest differences in Zo's behavior. And he knew what Zo really wanted...so he even made Zo's mom encourage him. THAT'S A PURE GREEN FLAG RIGHT THERE!
