About 6 months before we split up, my ex's family started treating me like shit.... Accusing me of never lifting a finger in the house and leaving all the work for their little princess, which was hilarious because in the entire 6.5 years we were together, that piece of work never once took the trash out, did laundry or the dishes. She barely worked at all and when she did, she never lasted the 90 days and would end up getting fired after a few weeks on the job. One day there was a big BBQ at my MIL's house where the entire family... aunts, cousins, father, mother, brothers and sisters had all backed me into a corner about how I never do anything for their daughter and how she has to do all the work. I insisted that's not how it really was but they paid me no attention. When we got home I confronted her asking "where are they getting this from?" she claims she had no idea. After we split up and filed for divorce, she began calling MY family with the same claims. How I left her "high and dry" and how she couldn't pay the bills... How I would leave her every chore in the house and how I was out of work for the entire relationship.... All the things SHE was guilty of. Turns out our marriage wasn't even valid, her mother never filed our license like she said she would (wedding was at her house and her father was the officiator). She never divorced her first husband and her ENTIRE family knew about it. I walked scott free.... some people out there just can't live without a ton of drama in their lives.
