The drummer is next level. understated but impactful at the same time. Very impressed with him.

This song is like the manifestation of an obsessive thought that works itself into a fervor. Beautiful art and the drummer is savage. I like the little happy look Chet gives when the drummer starts doing his thing.

This song means some kind of consolation to me... my beloved and lovely daughter died 7 years ago when she was 8 years old... She's my archangel now!!! Thank you for this song and this wonderful performance!!!
I am so deeply sorry you are experiencing the loss of your beloved child, for a parent, certainly, the worst and most deep tragedy of all. I am moved by your open sharing. I too love this song for similar reasons. It rouses the deep losses and the bittersweet tearing at the Soul they cause, the indelible stain the impact leaves behind, the cavern that will never close, for how could it? Here's to finding gems in new caves and having the courage and resilient nature to remain an explorer.

This is a GREAT song - but that drummer - he is ON IT! Bass guitarist is amazing too. Raging talent and such focus. Truly each of them is top of their game talent!

people get so used to autotune and then they miss the point that our imperfections make the charm of who we are.

Why his live sessions are much better than the actual album?
+Marymette24 Becuase in post production everything tends to be dissected and re sected and sected to death. Why? Because it can be. Today it's easy to completely process almost any sound, into any other sound. You can end up with perfection...But most humans now prefer the imperfect.. They perceive that as 'better'. It's true. I've gone both ways in recording, and come back to fewer mics, less processing...A more hands off approach. Good question!!!!

GREG GUITARS Very true! It is much better to listen to music without unnecessary correction. Perfection is in imperfection as they say. One of the obvious example is Roman candle album for Elliott Smith. His acoustic sounds much much better without processing. Thanks for your comment.
