I just realized something. As much as I hate Steve always going, "I'll sacrifice myself for you guys" or "Bryan is still save able!" There is a reason I think for this. And as simple as the answer is.... He was basically forced to believe this. As soon as Molten met Steve, he was bombarded with the fact that he was made to try and save BRYAN. That he was made for BRYAN to inhabit the animatronic. Not HIM. And the fact that Molten used to make clear that he would gladly get rid of Steve in oder to save him. Now I'm not saying that this makes him any less infuriating, but this aleast explains SOME of his choices and actions. Like how he always is trying to save or help people, even in this episode, he stated how he is more than willing to sacrifice himself for them. Because he was basically bullied into believing it, to believing that his only use was to be sacrificed. Even now, Molten calls Steve a mistake whenever talking about how he tried to save BRYAN. Another thing is the fact that he still has some of Bryan in him. Specifically, he has season 2 in him, always wanting to make stuff better without thinking, willing to sacrifice themselves for others, and always trying to see the bright side of things. Those were all things Bryan had in season 2.
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN THINKING a little like steve is nearly the closest thing that the animatronics can consider bryan you can see it sometimes, the thing about steve though is he acts more childish and speaks in childish wonder because he’s a performer but theres those moments where you see the actual bryan plus didn’t glitch trap like get into his system? He could’ve tampered with bryan mentally when transferring over to his body like maybe part of the real bryan is fused with both steve and Bryan like scrambled

His reaction after the nightmares left was absolutely fitting and really drove in how this is affecting them. Lolbit basically is like an ophand who already lost their home once. And the fact is, right in front of him. In his eyes... It's happening all over again, terrifying creatures coming out of the portal to do harm, friends, and family going missing or coming back not the same, their life on the line on both ends of the animatronics killing him or being dismantled or worse, their main Protector being out of the picture. Whether it's Molten or Bryan. And finally, someone who they care about threating to sacrifice themselves for them and the others. Lolbit only hands a handful of people he knew from season 2, and two of them helped in the destruction of their home for crying out loud! Don't you think that he's reminded of that at least a little any time he looks at Bonnie? Especially after he became friends with them and still looked like a twisted. This is probably hitting him the hardest.

In this series case the twisted were on bottom of totem pole of Glitchtrap’s small army as animatronic who world was destroyed by Glitchtrap and brainwashed into helping him on his path towards godhood. Nightmares in the games are dream versions of Crying Child brother and friend before he dies turned into ghoulish monsters. With Nightmare Mangle and Nightmarionne are Halloween exclusive to change Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare respectively. In this series case they are Glitchtrap’s first group and we’re destroyed by their Bryan in their own universe which is destroyed.
