There is no word to appreciate, after 52 years I am hearing this Mohanam sung by Sanjay. It was last great occasion was Madurai Mani Iyer's KAPALI by the same Papanasam Sivan in KAPALI TEMPLE in 1966. THIS PARTICULAR WAS POPULARISED MS AMMA. But Sanjay is the only male singer could sing this song like MS if not better. I am happy that a Fan club is started on his name. He deserves all titles coz his sincerity in scoring more than 100% in every concert. After all he is young only around 50. I am 74 & I don't think I will be able to hear kutcheries many more years. God bless him to carry on in the same for ever. All three Kala's are exemplary with excellent sangathis. What an ALAPANAI, EXQUISITE.His neraval reminds me of the legend Madurai Somu. His swarams of course of his own style. MMI was popular as he was called as "SWARA" MANI.

I entirely agree with the comments of Sri V.S. Sivaraman. What I wanted to say Sri Sivaraman did it. Good. ‘Sangeetha Kalanidhi’ Sri Sanjay Subramanian’s singing always touches the hearts of one and all. Absolutely. I am one of his rasikas. Karnatic Music lovers (including me) hold him in high esteem and wish him to contribute greatly for this art as has been done by those great predecessors. What else will give more pleasure in our lives than hearing good music; it leads us divinity.

Mr. Sivaraman is 74 and wonders about the future! Here, I am 88 and just short of the next "year stone" and I a looking forward to listening to a lot more of not only Sanjay's top class music but even tat of the numerous young artistes. All this thanks to the many people who have provided us such memorable music which we can listen to at all hours if the du and night in the comfort of our arm chairs or beds, particularly in this terrible Season of the Coronavirus!

My favourite song in Mohanam sung by most adored singer by me. I wish we can be back again in Chennai to listen live concerts. The last concert of his I heard Thamizhum Nanum in 2019.

I hear Sanjay Sir's 'KAPALI' very recently. I'm a guitarist and has learned and taught westerns. Now good writings, especially romantic rhythms like the raga MOHANAM , are practiced as gazing. It is a great blessing for me and like the story of Sanjay Sir. He is singing very sweetly. Let's give him all the goodness .....OM NAMA SHIVAYA..

Mr. V.S. Sivaraman's comments are so 100%....SS DOES remind in different ays of Somu and MMI both, and for me, in a small way, Ramanathapuram Krishnan...Sanjay is my favorite living Carnatic singer, by far...and this song is a great example....never strained...always sings with bhava...
