love the Rose and Crown. ate Christmas dinner there once. another time are there during honeymoon which was also the Queens Jubaliee. All of england was on vacation in Disney it seemed and the pub was filled with legit english people drinking at like 2 in the afternoon.

Guinness is a must have. It's the beer that really got me into beers. They had a Bailey's and Guinness shake that was AMAZING!
And I was raised with vinegar on my fish & chips. Love it!
And it's Malt vinegar
OMG! Fish & chips drenched in vinegar is awesome!! :D And so are salt & vinegar crisps/chips! :D
When I was younger, while my family was taking a break at the pool, I remember drawing my way around world showcase & the thatched building in England was the one I did. The people working inside there came out to see what I was doing & they all liked my drawing. XD

I really enjoyed this look at EPCOT but you got something wrong in Italy.The building is based on Venice's Doges Palace. And the same pattern is used on Robert A.M. Stern's Disney Casting Building at WDW. I used to conduct tours at the Disney Institute. I got a lot of other info if you are interested.

Not sure the architectural highlights in Italy are quite correct. For instance I’m certain Il Bel Cristallo (said with an extra vowel?) represents Doge’s Palace, not the Sistine Chapel.

Did Amanda try the croque monsieur in EPCOT? If so, how did it compare with Disneyland Paris?
The Disney Parks channel has a video called "In The Kitchen with EPCOT Chef Kevin Downing" that shows him making the Canadian Cheddar Bacon Soup and the Filet of Beef with Roasted Mushrooms and Beurre Blanc... you know, in case you would like inspiration for another cooking episode... ;)

Actually, all the totem poles currently there are made of wood. The two that were made of fiberglass were replaced by authentic ones in 2017. All of them were carved by David Broxley, famous for his totem pole creations, who is from Tsimshian tribe of the Pacific Northwest

Tudor period was 1500s to 1603 when King James the 6th of Scotland took over from Elizabeth the first of England. That's when you had the union of the crowns. Just a pity the United kingdom part looks like England and nowhere else :(

Found your channel a few weeks ago while looking up Disney cruise videos while slowly planning a first cruise with friends. I decided to watch other videos and found your Pairs videos now my fiends and I cant decide if we should do a cruise or Paris first lol. Also love your videos so of course we had to subscribe!!

Epcot is my favorite! Especially world showcase! I remember visiting as a kid and being so excited to get a little flag from each country for my souvenir, it spurred my love of traveling 🙂

When Disney announced that a Frozen rise would replace Malestrom, traditionalists lost their minds saying that characters don’t belong in the World Showcase. However, there wasn’t the same outrage when the Mary Poppins attraction was announced. Why do you think that is?? I’m interested to get your take on that.
The Canadian garden, Butchart Gardens, is pronounced, I believe, with the emphasis on the first syllable, and it's butch- (as in Butch Cassidy) -art. That's how I always heard it said, anyway. :)

Epcot is my favourite of all the parks. I’ve been to Disney twice now and third time next year. Just hope it’s all open again.
I think you might have fan-girled over Mary Poppins as much as I did the first time I saw her. I was wearing my "rather inclined to giggle. Doesn't put things away" tshirt when I met her. It was serendipitous! Watching the journey of your mask on this one is fun...will it be right side up...will it be upside down? who knows! 😂
I love all the Secrets Revealed. As a Disneyland person I’ve never understood the appeal of Epcot so we skipped it when we went in 2013 but I actually want to visit after this video. Time to head back to WDW and give it a shot.

I love World Showcase.
The UK housing from the 1700s also builds up and OUT when you are on the second floor. The British paid for square footage on the ground level, but you’d get more space and bang for your buck if the 2nd floor extended like a slight overhang.
