Surprised you did't put a dry mix of concrete under and beside drain to hold it in place and withstand occasional car weight

job well done. Chris did some great work. What I would have liked to see was how you dug out under the driveway to install the pvc pipe for the drain. or was it already there? thanks guys.

So when you connected the 90mm stormwater to the drainage channel, did you seal the join with silocine? No you didnt! Hence, large water volume, leaks appear!!!

Because you have the drain in the middle I assume that the 2nd half will need to slope back the other way now seeing these lock together it would be helpful to understand how this is achieved ?

Doesn't matter. Both ends are capped, so theres only one point for the water to go. It doesn't matter if theres a few centimeters of water still in the channel, as long as it goes in the pipe instead of back out onto the driveway.

    Great video.
I saw the storm pipe (white PVC) onto which Chris connected the grated channel, but I, also, saw a black corrugated pipe coming out from the ground.
Is this system designed to collect water simultaneously at two different levels (ground level and below ground level)?
It seemed to me like a surface water catchment system and an underground French drain catchment system.

HDPE or PP trench drain is very suitable for DIY or civil use projects, to catch the rain water from the gutter and down to the catch basins. Because it' light even a person can finish it by himself. It's different from our polymer concrete trench drain, our products is more suitable for commercial projects but can offer better performance of compression and bending resistances. Besides these, we need to consider the UV resistance to the plastic products.

So how do you cut out for stormwater if the drains have specific spots. I would then need to cut the drain down losing factory join for next peice.

No silicone on the end cap or pipe?
What about the concrete each side of the drain?
    What about the fall?
    Informative not!

its a drain gutter, not a roof gutter. fall doesn't matter as long as it's level

won't it float up as the water naturally gets under it?

I don't know which of the two is more irritating, a bloke from the office (shoes are a giveaway) pretending he knows exactly what is going on, "over to you Chris". Or the annoying holiday advertisement music in the background.
