    We all should know the shoe restricts blood flow needed for heeling and health. When you attach a shoe with nails or glue to the hoof-walls you create major forces that pull at the walls when the hoof lands heel first. This unnatural force combined with the ultrasonic vibrations from metal shoe (like a tuning fork that destroy soft tissue) will make the horse less likely to develop a TRUE heel first landing. Muscle memory then adapts to this unnatural footfall While All your shoeing methods offer a pain relief and improvement...long term they do not completely reverse the condition that got the horse into trouble in the first place. Only a barefoot horse can establish a correct heel first landing...I think you know this. I just wish you would stress it more and remind people the long term goal should be to get the horse to return to that which nature intended through lifestyle, hoof care and conditioning.
