I only saw BYD atto and dolphin and thought they were cheap inside. Then I sat in one of this... omfg it was so nice and felt more advanced than tesla. Europe knows they are done if they compete with China. If China takes the car market then we are talking about an accelerator for chinese economy and they will be so ahead of any country today

I own a BYD Dolphin and the (black) interior looks quite good for the material they used. After 14 months and 35’000 km everything looks like new. But the others cars like the Seal are a step higher. I am really waiting to see and the test this car. The Seal is too low for me and I don’t like the trunk.
fun fact - Apple Secretly Developed Long-Range EV Battery Tech with China's BYD , The collaboration was part of Apple's since-canceled car project. Although Apple doesn't own the technology used in BYD's current Blade batteries, the partnership reportedly influenced the development of BYD's battery systems.
hey dan so who can beat BYD abut quality inside or outside and how is silence car no noise i check test very good smooth easy and zeeker x7 suv beast top i love both version max awd is go 0-100 4.5 sec beast
@@SDADanCars Sorry, can't agree. You clearly haven't seen the Zeekr 7x, so can't compare. Sea Lion 07 is excellent but Zeekr 7x is a class above; far higher spec, 475kW (637 hp) AWD, 3.8s to 100, fully adaptive air suspension with ride beight adjustable up to 230mm, very capable off road, much longer range, much better surround sound audio system, superior screens, software, ADAS, ITAC, heated, cooled and massage seats etc. BYD will be cheaper, but doesn't compare on any other spec.

I depends on what style you like. I prefer the more conventional interior of BYD. I assume that the Zeekr 7x will be more expensive, too.
Absolutely. I personally prefer the more angular body shapes of BYD, Zeekr and others over the rounded coupe look of Model Y, Xpeng etc. BYD interior is very attractive also. Agree that the Zeekr 7x is likely to be considerably more expensive. It's great to have a wider variety of EV designs and technologies to choose from now.
No, the fact is that bev's are not as a dangerous as a gas cars, especially the BYD LFP battery's not. They are the safest cars in a crash also because the rigid integrated batterystructure.
Not that difficult to understand. If you can't charge at home, or live a long way from a city and charging infrastructure, then obviously a full EV is not suitable for you. However, the vast majority of people drive less than a tenth of this BEV's range each day. Why on earth do you want to drag a dead-weight ICE and a tank full of petrol around when you'll never need to use it? I charge my BEV fully from solar. Zero cost. Rarely have to charge at a public charger. When I have, on 2000km trip from Brisbane to Adelaide, it was no problem and still a lot cheaper than petrol.

It depends on ten market. They don’t sell them everywhere. We in Thailand only got the Sealion 6 PHEV but not the pure EV version (Seal U).
Love this BYD Sealion 7. New platform from BYD. Hopefully you can test drive it Dan !!
I hope i can Test Drive it … i try to find one
Thank you Dan. Now you can imagine that European carmakers are afraid. This car is so nice, well made, complete an luxury.
Yes it is great 👍

It is not 4.55... it is 4.5s, means 0-100 in 4.5 seconds
👍
2 sensors in front for the international version, not 4
👍

How does the boot compare to the outlander 2021?
BYD Sealion 7 vs Zeekr 7X, which would be better?
BYD😁

Shout out from Australia excellent production given that you were competing with so many other people to look at the car
Thanks for feedback my friend 🙏😁Yes was really hard
Can u change to dark mode on the screen?
Of course
Is this the 2025 new model or 2024?
2025 is very new … next month will be on Test Drives
Very nice car 👍
It sure is👍
Why haven't you gone through Xpeng G6? We are still waiting for this from you🤔
The car cost only 27.000 US $ in China. In EU will cost probably double like all cars that came from China….
👍
Hope this is generation 2 blade LFP Battery
Not sure 🤔
As far as I know, there does not exit such a thing.
Which one is the best seal udmi or sealion 7?
Hard to say 😁 i have to test them both
@SDADanCars ah it's okay just wondering which one is the best in terms of comfort and tech
❤❤❤
The front lights remind me a little bit of Renault....
👍👍👍👌👌👌👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
why doesnt BYD optimize the software its so laggy when you were on the map and zoom out looked like it was on 20f fps even Xiaomi su7 is smooth
The software in my BYD Dolphin is quite zippy. I cannot complain.
Probably the app is opened for the first time. Even the cheapest byd has no lag.
👌🚘🙏🇨🇳👍

Europe and Japan car Maker can't sleep
Its pronounced BYD, not BID
Yes 👍
why that black plastic around the wheels.its ugly
What the difference between sealion 6
Sea Lion 06 is ICE, Sea Lion 07 is BEV
@@fritslevie4461 Not exactly. SL06 is hybrid, SL07 pure battery EV.
The SL 6 has also different shape and dimensions. The SL 7 is based on a newer platform, too.
You mean sl7 is bigger different category?
Does it explode upon crushing to another car?
The probability will not be higher than that of a fuel vehicle, do you understand?
No it doesn't. You can see Euro ncap testing results in BYD models. All of them got 5 Stars

I dont think so …
CANNOT UNDERSTANT WHY BYD STOPPED OFFRERING PLUG IN HYBRID LIKE THE SEALION 6 SO ITS NO FOR ME
@@bennasara944 It's because plug in hybrid was for people with range enxiety and that's now no issue anymore.

@fritslevie4461 yes! Exactly. Think of the hassle of needing to take care of 2 fuel types. Electric and gas. BEV range is no longer an issue.
