I owned this esc and the tsky 120A, which has the similar case but different innards... I swapped the cap with zlh 560uf (similar footprint), use external BEC for power hungry servos (since the bec only capable of supplying 1 amp), and desolder the power cable (red cable) on the servo cable (on the tsky esc), since the hobbywing usblink works fine without 5V power from the esc...
I bought a couple of this from eBay, seller had posted the TSky ESC in one of the pics. I returned them immediately since it didn’t have a button for throttle calibration, and the Hobbywing programmer card I have didn’t work, unlike on a TSky.

I have the same esc don’t need program just plug it in and it works no issues
Depending on the intended use, yes programming would be necessary for some.
Is the motor wiring the same as hobbywing? There are no ABC decals to show how to wire the motor.

These are mass sold by many stores. They are not programmable. So you’ll have to be happy with whatever factory settings yours was programmed with.
The esc didn't last long on my 4s 1:10 crawler the 120 Amp esc is constantly beeping and also the programming card doesn't light up anymore plus the cooling fan doesn't do sh. I didn't overload the esc but it cut out out of nothing. It's from a very poor quality this esc

Its a hit or miss on these kind of esc and the program card that works with these is not the Hobbywing all others work I believe
Hi! I had this esc and a 3650 4300kv motor. The motor is beeping constantly after using a 3s; fan does not start. No lights bliking. Which error could be?
This could be some programming problem.
3s only with bigger fan

I brought this esc and motor and put it in the same rc car but mine is cogging really bad even after i have reprogrammed it how did u get urs to run so smooth?
I’m having the same issue. On top of that the motor or the esc is beeping sometimes I get lucky and it works but my guess is tgat it’s the mesh maybe we need a adjustable motor mount if yours don’t have one it could also be the pinion gear size to motor kv ratio. 🤦🏽♂️ lot of work ahead mate 😂

It would be much better if you want to program first, but it can also be done without programming because esc is already have this function. Tq

@@jamesputman4941 it's the esc actually... I moved on from GoolRc, and bought a surpass hobby motor with esc, it has a nice performance for budget rc motor with esc

The esc did not get hot because it have cooling fan on the top there. The motor I use 4300kv. Thanks for your comment

You use the programming to program it, this will be much stable and much stronger
