the second option is only possible if your willing to spend 800$ on up, the most expensive part being the motor. what i would recommend to you is looking at some skar audio and sound qubed audio if you looking for new. if you looking for used keep eyes peeled a while on creglist as you dont have to pay for shipping and if you wait you will find a really good deal,

Those newer sonys(blue cone and the like) malaysia made woofers are relitively tough for the era. Gotta hand it to sony they sure made a comeback😀

its not always great, on small speakers its makes the suspension to high witch completely kills the lows it might of had the ability to do.
