Why R? 2021 | Why people ask so frequently "is R worse than Python?". Is it?

Abstract
On each R conference I was I heard same question over and over again: "R or Python?". Python dev's don't ask this question often. Why is that? Is R on par with Python in Data Science? How about beyond? I will try to base my presentation on our experiences - company that has competences in all 3 languages of Ju(lia)Pyt(hon)e(R) (and more). How are choosing what do go with? I will also try to highlight my favourite R advantages over Python and vice versa.
