I never use it recommended settings :) I loose very good signal with it. Gold and silver you will losee over 3 is gold over 5 1/2 silver . So i go more like relic machine disk between 2 and 3 is perfect ignor foil but still you can hear the good signal. Sens on 7 7 and half its perfec no HOLE efects and false signal.

I never tested with gold coin because i dint found one but on 10x10 etc is about 65-70cm depend or where you tested. Outdoor is 70 in door 65 cm.
was it in disc mode or all metal?
Disk mode was that in 3 knob sens was 8 i think . I cant get the max from machine in door. To much EIM.
