    Great job! That saw is throwing some curls like a plane.

      Yes, you can see how well it performs by the curls escaping from the cut. In addition, a freshly sharpened saw will feel good in your hands as it cuts and it will sound good as well.

    I'm wondering if a 36 inch crosscut saw with 3 cutting teeth for each raker can be filed for rip.

    That's quite a bit of work. Nice job. It would be interesting to see how long it would take to saw down the entire length of that log.
