I had been wondering why I’ve been stuck in silver in duals when I’m plat 4 in duos but after watching this video I went from silver 2 to gold without losing a single match. Realized it was all because of me flipping every time I hit the ball.

Alright, so 10 months later, although a lot of players clearly have seen this video and manage to stay a lot calmer than me and don't panic-forward-flip as much as I do when I can't keep my head cool, it still works ! Was stuck between Silver III and early Silver IV since I started, and tonight I finally graduated Gold (^^,) I still front flip way to much but keeping these rules in mind and trying to apply them was a big game changer tonight. Thanks Mogz ! Purple and Gold shots are good additions if you can do them, especially since they keep your car behind the ball, and when you miss them you just head back to defense as quickly as possible, but you only have boost to do so ;-)

Im thinking about quitting because ive been playing for weeks trying different tips to get better and havent improved at all. Im stuck in silver 1 against people who are able to do follow through gold shots from the other half while half the time i cant even hit the ball.
if you're getting opponents who can do that then it means the match making system messed up. It's been 4 months now, so it might have been improved, so may be you can try to return

as someone who entered gold new i can confirm that i used those tips to get out of silver but here is another tip will help: use the white arrow to flip not the purple the white arrow point where is the front of the car and where it will flip the purple arrow show where the car will be not where it will flip that's a very useful tip will help you not miss the shots because i personally struggled alot with miss shots because of flip in the wrong direction and im sure alot of you use the purple arrow to flip
Soo... Funny story on this one my first ever loss was in bronze when I was playing a 2v2 and my teammate actually got confused on what goal to score into. Safe to say for the single goal I did get, it was pretty good.
Dude this video is phenomenal. I got to silver in like 2 hours of gameplay and remained stuck in silver for around 23 hours and now within next 5 hours i got to gold 1, thanks a bunch! Hopefully i don't drop from gold to silver again haha Also i reached silver 5 in 2v2 because of this video
No matter how much tips and tricks I watch I always just end up being shit on everytime. I've been in Silver 1 ever since the game launched and I can't do this anymore. I'm just gonna have to quit and play Smthn else
I think it’s wild how good this works I got to gold 1 in 30 minutes from gold 3 although sometimes I add my flips I learned from other videos aswell to only use it when you know for sure your going to score thank you so much
i did talk about that in my Offense video... th-cam.com/video/8su0Nn91sn4/w-d-xo.html but yeh, if they are clearing it from above... well... i'd prob recommend just jumping high to try to block their clear (hit into goal), but make sure you DONT flip on that shot.
If you are still facing difficulties, I would recommend training in 1v1 mode against the machine at the highest possible level... But instead of training your attack, train only your defense... Always letting the machine recover the ball and trying to score again... After you get very good at defending, train to score from afar, after having defended a kick (counterattack). This strategy took me from platinum to champion really fast.
I do love your advice but I've been implementing this stuff and I've been climbing up and down silver for like a month, it seems like while I'm not getting any better and other players are just getting better.

i would say - if you've got enough boost to get another touch (before your opponent gets one) after you do the critical/red shot.. then you can do it. If you're very low boost or zero boost, i wouldnt risk it. The way I used it at 7:37 in this video was like that. I'd also say - if you do use the critical/red shot, then make sure you're flipping towards the ground.. dont just flip into mid air and leave yourself floating down to the ground. So hit the ball down to the ground, and follow it down.. rather than hitting it up and going for as much power/distance as possible. Chances are you wont score from that range anyway, so.. best to keep the ball & your car on the ground. hope that helps. I might do another shortstack vid soon, cos i feel like I could update this advice a little
I have 2 shots u can use to score goals 1, The double jump shot (This is a easy and great shot to use) : Ur opponent misses the goal, try aiming the ball on the roof of the car keep running(u can use some boost for more speed) and before reaching the goal,double jump and don’t do anything the ball will enter the goal (this one works mostly in duels)
The second shot is accurate to the other one and it’s the air roll purple shot: You do the same thing aim the car in the middle and run. When reaching the defence zone, jump, air roll and purple shot. You may miss but if your opponent defender isn’t in the defence zone u could score.(Mostly used in doubles,threes,and hoops). Have an awesome day and tell if they work pls! :)
watch some of my other videos eg. how to get out of gold, how to get out of platinum. There's a vid about general tips for all players too. mechanics dont matter AT ALL at silver rank. Ignore them and focus on just never letting the ball go past you. Dont flip into the ball , as i said in this vid.

@@RaghavBabbar nope, it doesnt actually affect anyone other than you. Its just a local setting. You can even switch it mid-match without anyone being affected.

We could master one of the sides that way but we could also randomize it to get better at controlling car to go in different directions and get better grasp of different mechanics. Im in silver V and i cant matchmake with purely silver V for hoops, but i can matchmake with a combination of other along with hoops

the best kickoff in any map is probably just not using the boost and jumping at the last second youre apponent hit the ball
When should you immediately critical shot to clear the ball from your goal, vs air dribbling it for a better shot but less boost?

In bronze I started to use speedflip and that is the key to win a match and not a single jump
No if you speedflip you can lose control of the ball
well using flip isnt a bad idea if youre sure that you can either hit the goal with that flip or replenish the flip quickly

@@Mogzrl oh i see, thanks for the info. Now i wonder if it's better to practice while fixing our goal direction. We could master one of the sides that way but we could also randomize it to get better at controlling car to go in different directions and get better grasp of different mechanics. What do you think is better?
