Synopsis : A blind sculptor, Shivani (Moushumi Chatterjee) stays in an ashram and makes friends with a small boy (Satyajit), who is suffering from cancer. She falls in love with Rajesh (Vinod Mehra). Rajesh asks his parents to permit him to marry her, to which his mother agrees, but his father refuses under her present condition. Then, an eye specialist reveals that an eye replacement would cure her.
Later, as a dying wish, the young boy donates his eyes to her, thus granting her eyesight for the first time in her life.

I along with my parents and family members saw this movie in the brij talkies ,when I was 7yrs old in the past year 1974-75.in the month of june.our father promised us once in a year after the declaration of results on 20 th may will goto see the best movie in hall.We waited whole the year to see the movie.In those day every movie has the meanings.
Still I remember Isaw the movies with the parents satyakam, Hathi mere sathi, Anurag all these were of grand success after the end of movie we usually go to the gulshan ice cream shop one of the best,still it is... the in saharanpur really those were the golden days . My parents passed away no more but I cant forget that's all even now I am In the Age of 61

Chandan ka shivani ke liye pyaar dekh ke pyaar ki samajh hi badal jaye har kisi ki. Ye hota hai asli rishta. Ek andhi ladki ko didi na sirf kaha par jo pyaar diya aur is duniya se jate waqt bhi apni aankhe use de gaya. Koi jawab nahi is baat par.
Dil ko hila ke rakh diya is movie ne. 🙏
Aaj me khud ek soch bana ke chal rha hu abse ki hamari body se jo b donate hum kar sake wo jarur karunga. Mere mar jaane par mere sharir ke hisse se kisi dusre insan ki zindagi agar thodi b sudhar paye to isse jyada badi insaniyat aur kuch nahi ho sakegi.
Aur me chahta hu jo b meri ye comment padhe wo b is bare me jarur soche aur apni raay de.
Baki the movie is unmatchable. Ek simple sa family drama kitni khubsurati se dikhaya ja sakta hai iska lajawab namuna hai ye masterpiece.
Aajkal ke movies aise retro movies ka 1% bhi nahi kar sakte. 😅

Superb movie. Tears trickled down my eyes at the end of the movie. Love of the little boy Chandan was beyond measure towards the blind girl whom he loved as his own sister. He contracted cancer and donated his eyes to the blind girl so that she could see with his eyes and died. Enumclaw, WA, USA.
