This is clutch info that answers 2 key questions: 1) Yes, a Sound Devices Mix Pre *will work with an iPhone 15 (albeit with external power); and 2) We don’t need to worry so much about iOS messing with or giving us only compressed audio because you can manage the audio format & resolution via the Mix Pre Also having a Mix Pre v. II gives us 32-bit float, which guards against clipping distortion. This is key for one-person operation. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hey! I need a suggestion on how I should set up my podcast when I'm traveling, what gear do I need? All interviews are with remote guests, but I want my end of the video/audio to look fresh =) What I have now is: Iphone 15 pro Yeti Blue usb Mic Sony Alpha 7 III Kamera with Camlink But I'm also open to make it waaay easier and more compact. Thanks for amazing videos! Been watching like 20 of these!
We have a video coming soon on capturing those multiple video angles for a video podcast, but this will get you started: th-cam.com/video/TJ-EZrBwLT8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1U2NPlCOE-X9fOBH
What microphones are compatible with an iphone 13 to record on riverside mobile? The bluetooth ones I bought record on the iphone video but do not on the riverside app.
For an iPhone 13 you'll need to use a TRRS splitter and microphones that connect via an 1/8" cable. We have a video on that here: th-cam.com/video/f_boXRgdoa4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z1ZiOLV0TNGdT_wR
How is this easier than Spotify For Podcasters was? One click , and my microphone. ☑️ Bring Spotify For Podcasters back! This was a terrible move for podcasters who were loyal to Spotify for Podcasters! Simple the worst business decision Spotify!
Audio. With an intro where I added Compton background music, then recorded the podcast. Merged the two together with the upload. I was notified when a new episode was released. These are no longer options. Has been a negative experience since the switch. I loved Spotify for Podcasters. It was perfect.
This was just to show the flexibility of recording with audio interfaces and iPhone + Riverside. If you're recording audio-only, we simplify the process in this tutorial: th-cam.com/video/xOQNZqacdcA/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
@@nancywelk2114 You could add video to your podcast, might open up some more audience exposure. You are already making quite a few videos on your channel. Could be an interesting experiment. I never used anything to record other than riverside and the flexibility it has offered has been phenomenal for me. I do some of the editing in studio and then final quality cut after in editing software. Still post with spotify for podcasters though

The iPhone would look great, but if you want a video on travel setups, check this out! th-cam.com/video/EXE66jijpdE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CCHsyA0Wfi9XfkLd
could you do this and also have 2 different camera angles like a lot of other multiple in person guest podcasts have?
