I am not bored , I am old and broken. I turn 70 in 2 days. I have been cutting wood since 1975. The first six years was helping other people. then I got my own wood furnace. I sold wood for years to pay for my equipment and saws. At one time I was cutting a cord a day and splitting it with a 15 lb. monster mall. Now I can't hardly swing it. I split a cord of cherry and walnut today for next winter, the logs were 2 years old. I burn about 10 cords a year and sell about 5 cords to campers. I still love to cut wood, it is an addiction. My knees just won't let me do as much any more.

An old guy told me once, "It don't matter how much you paid for a tool, or what the brand name is, if it fits your hand, it's a good tool for you!" Since then, I've gotten several tools that feel like good tools. I can hear what Tony's saying! - If you have integrity, are you integral? Or just an integer? I think Tony has a superpower too.

It shows that he spent his time in sales. Wranglerstar, Morgans etc are good at selling themselves not so much at what they are doing and does not take long if watching different channels to realize which is which. Chris's channel has taken a different approach showing the building of a business rather than buying a business.

I can't believe how good the battery power tools have become. Especially the impact wrenches. I have a few of them. A while back I was having trouble busting the lugs free on my 2020 Suburban when I doing a brake job on it and I was having trouble with my air impact. Think I probably needed to oil it so I grabbed my Milwaukee and walked them off like they were finger tight. I have a old worn out Dewalt and Snapon too and a Snapon 1/4 ratchet and Milwaukee too and 3/8. I just got one of the new Ryobi 1/2 impacts too the new HP brushless ones since Direct Tool had 50% off all refurbished stuff and I got another 10% off so the refurb tool cost me $60. I used it yesterday for the first time. Seemed to have all the power of my far more expensive impacts for a fraction of the price and I already had some Ryobi tools so I have batteries. I just have so much now need to have just one brand not Dewalt, Milwaukee, Snapon, and Ryobi like I have lol I have a couple old Skill, Black and Decker, and Craftsman too but sure all those the batteries I am sure are all shot and I have newer better tools anyway. My uncle Donnie worked for Stanley forever so I have all kinds of Proto, Dewalt, MAC and other stuff that came from him

If I could offer a piece of advice about hunting land and farmers… Don’t offer to help a farmer with labor with the motive of hunting land with the expectation that you will get hunting privileges. From the farmer and landowner perspective, it becomes very apparent very quick. It’s one of the reasons that city folks and FIBs get a bad reputation. Most of the time you will get a “no thanks” to the offer of help because we’ve been burned many times before. Just a friendly suggestion on just being genuine with farmers and landowners, it’s obvious when you are not.

When I was little there was rule in the house that was never to be violated. Dad would say keep your hands off of my tools. Nothing worse than getting between Papa Bear and his tools. I was so proud of my Craftsman tool chest that I purchased from Sears in 1981. Each payday I added a tool to the tool chest. Only thing is a valuable teachable moment was missed. I taught myself how to spin a wrench No Google, You Tube, QVC, HSN etc.. I have a ten year old girl living next door. Since she moved in five years ago she has learned the names of tools and how they work. For anything with a cord, I had her put on safety gear and then I had her place her hand on my hand while I was using power tools, except saws. Last year I talked to her parents and they signed off that she could use a quarter sheet palm sander and a drill to make some bird houses. I had an old Craftsman drill that died. I gave her her own personal tool box and I said have at it. Take this drill apart to see how it works. I want Mini Me to hit the ground running and know at a very young age how to safely operate tools.. If young boys and girls know how to use tools and fix things, their hard earned money can stay in their pocket instead of paying someone to fix or build something for them.

There is a saying that is so true I just remembered as you talk about honesty. Everyone loves honesty, until you are honest with them. @@InTheWoodyard you could offer a combo pack, well seasoned ready to burn firewood, a stick of gum, and bottle of water. Probably sell like Beaver fur hats.
