    Incredibly well done. The PRCA needs more artists like yourself. This is the type of media that propels rodeo forward for the next generation. So excited to have found this video and you, you've got a new follower and big fan Cole! Keep it up!

    Absolutely incredible job! In my opinion, the best documentary surrounding rodeo that I’ve ever seen. It has a level of storytelling, cinematography, and production that the rodeo world has been sorely lacking. It captured the magic of why we all love it.
    I’d love to see a documentary like this one done on the old guard of tie down ropers - Joe B, Roy, Fred, Cody, Herbert Theriot, Brent Lewis, Mike Johnson, Blair Burke, etc. Complete with old footage and interviews. I think that era is one of the best, most overlooked time in any competitive sport, anywhere. Maybe one day!
    Awesome work!

    What a way to capture all sides of going up and down the road. Never before have we gotten an inside look of what it truly takes before they get to step on the stage and accept that gold buckle in the Thomas and Mack. I am pretty sure I had full chills the whole documentary.

    this is an excellent documentary. Im not a huge roping fan but I liked this. Part 4 stood out to me. I liked the drone shots, the animation of travel from place to place and the must was on point and make different sections enjoyable and set the tone. Would love to see a part 2 but just b roll action shots, no interviews maybe just commentary about what we are watching. well done

      "Yeah, I accidentally killed and injured lots of calves when I was learning. I mean, I plain roped their heads off." (--PRCA calf roper, quoted in "The mud, the blood & the poop," by PRCA rodeo reporter Gavin Ehringer, Colorado Springs Independent, August 19, 2004)
      "Do I think it hurts the calf? Sure I do. I'm not stupid." (--Keith Martin, Chairman of the Board, PRCA. In the 2/6/2000 San Antonio Express News, "Choosing Champions," by reporter Elizabeth Allen)
      Some veterinarians claim that the calves (mere babies) are injured EVERY time they are roped, thrown and tied, though the injuries may not be obvious to the untrained eye.
      Tie-down calf roping should be outlawed nationwide, allowing at most only "breakaway" roping, as Rhode Island has done. LEGISLATION IS IN ORDER: LOCAL, STATE, FEDERAL.

      Re clarify what I mean by “rank” this movie was put together extremely well. Dedication to the fullest. People don’t see what goes into being a Pro Cowboy and the work ethic. You don’t like calf roping move on. I own some roping cattle and they are treated better than I am. Maybe some people treat their cattle bad. Can’t base everything off what you read.

    • @ericmills100
      @ericmills100 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@daxeaglebear5331 Sir, did you read the quotes from the rodeo cowboys above? Nearly EVERY animal welfare organization on Earth condemns rodeo due to its inherent cruelty. The roping calves are mere BABIES, and terrified at that. Just imagine the public outcry if pet dogs were mistreated thusly. I was present at the 1995 California Rodeo/Salinas when FIVE animals were killed. A roping calf with a broken back was not euthanized, but simply trucked off to slaughter, no doubt scared and in agony. I was told it took two days. "Painkillers given?" I asked the vet. "No," he replied, "that would ruin the meat." I worked on a 2010 case near Denver in which SEVEN steers had their tails stripped to the bone ("degloved") in a single afternoon's charreada event; two others suffered a broken pelvis and broken leg, requiring euthanasia. Again, NO VET PRESENT. So please don't try to tell me that you "love" the animals used/abused in rodeos, and that they're "treated better than yourself." RODEOS & CHARREADAS SHOULD BE OUTLAWED WORLDWIDE.
