When your ult is on cooldown and you try to ult anyway you'll use an ult accel (which reduces your ult cooldown) if you have one in your inventory. Wigg really did fat finger that somehow and that was a joke explanation though lol.

Things happen. Basically when they moved through fragment they got ambushed. Noc died and selen almost died so she moved forward while wigg retrieved they banner. After that hijinks issued and escalated
Running from a team while running into another team then the other one run into another team then wigg got nocs banner while selen keep running and so on and so forth.
