    It is totally Pakistani, song composition and One-Take Live recording. As for dance, it is 'kathak' dance, common in both Pakistan and India.

    Pakistan a land of soulful singers...

  • @sunflower590
    @sunflower590 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    I need to clarify that India and Pakistan were the same country till 1947. They separated at the end of British rule due to difference in religion and political issues that arise with it. They have very similar culture, music and art except the bit of impact of religion in all the above.
    Due to very similar spoken languages in both countries, the entertainment industries are interchangeably popular on both sides. So technically this song is not trying to take influence from Bollywood, it is straight up Pakistani culture.
    Fun fact: Also this song is in Punjabi which is language spoken in the Punjab province. Both countries have the province of Punjab with the same name since they distributed the area into two at partition.

    • @friya196
      @friya196 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      How is that when most of the Pakistani population are Muslims? Do they wear saris and know traditional Indian dances too? I'm curious if that is prevalent there too?

    • @sunflower590
      @sunflower590 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@friya196 of course it is. Culture and art has nothing to do with religion. The families that practiced art like traditional singing and dancing still do it and keep the art alive. Also yes some religious families such as my own doesn’t but not all Hindu families practice such things. And it also comes down to personal liking and taste.
      As for sari, it is a dress and has less to do with religion. The tradition is lost now but sari was a dress that women in India wore after their marriage. It used to differentiate married women from unmarried ones who used to wear simple clothing like shalwar Kameez or Kurtas. My family was one of those Muslim families that migrated from India at partition so saris are very common dressing in weddings and other formal events. Though have become less popular in casual clothing.

    • @friya196
      @friya196 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sunflower590 I'm sorry but practicing something doesn't make it originate from there. And just a little bit of research tells me how most Pakistani families have renounced saris bcos they are "indian". It can't really be counted as the part of "culture" of a country when most people have renounced it.

    • @sunflower590
      @sunflower590 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@friya196 Indian and Pakistani people are from a similar ethnicity. And the 'indian culture ' you see is actually a combination of Pakistani and Indian culture. Originating from the Hindu and Mughal rule. So according to your statement everything hindu is indian so everything muslim should be Pakistani. Then why does india portray Mughal muslim art and culture as its own.
      Also sari is an openly wore dress in Pakistan and I don't know who revoked it.
      It is a weird example, not in context but if American's and British both speak english and wear similar clothes then that means American's are copying the British you say.
      The creators of the regions art are divided between the two countries and are maintaining the art in the two countries, I doubt anyone is even creating classical art on India also.
      I don't know where you are from but please educate yourself on the history and ethnicities of India if you are interested. Please don't jump to conclusions.
      A lot of Hindu and Sikh history is originated in Pakistan and vice versa for India. They were the same people before but with the Muslim invasion and then the muslim rule, they converted to islam. The Muslim of Indo Pak did not drop from the sky.

    • @friya196
      @friya196 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sunflower590 Im not saying that. I'm telling you what your own people are saying LMAO. Again you don't understand what the partition caused and how th cultures have diversed vastly. Claiming something as "original" which the whole comment section is doing isn't feasible with at all. How do u claim such a "diverse" culture partly originating from India as "original pakistani" is baffling to me especially since Pakistan barely has any important minorities. Creators of regional art/dances is not divided cos we actually KNOW from where they originated. Dont go gaslighting me. While we acknowledge our mughal emperors, yall are denouncing anything which could relate to India and "hindus". We are not the same.

    It's Pakistan🇵🇰 Music.
    It's Coke studio Pakistan.
    Pakistan and India was one country before 1947 .
    In 1947 Pakistan got independence.
    Pakistan 95% Muslim Majority country.
    Pakistan national language is Urdu.
    Indian official language is Hindi.
    Both are 70 % similar ( I mean the grammar and superficial vocabs are similar so it's easy to understand each other by both nations.
    Urdu script is like Arabic. Script in writing✍️
    Urdu is very poetic language which makes it very sweet in hearing and talking. With vast range of vocabs.
    Urdu is influenced by ( Persian and little bit Turkish and Arabic)
    But the grammar used in Urdu is not like Persian. Some vocabs are similar to Persian.
    Hindi is influenced by ( Sanskrit and Urdu )
    Bsc most Hindi speaking people mixed both Hindi and urdu and
    called Hindi language.
    Bsc they pronounced some urdu words wrong.its become common that they even didn't know which words are they using is urdu or Hindi.
    Like words flower is Phool, some will pronounce fhool .
    BCS some sounds that are in Urdu is not in Hindi alphabet.
    So we can easily tell some words they use in daily life or Bollywood songs are not Hindi words.
    And used highly Urdu words in Bollywood songs.
    And name song Hindi.
    Pure Urdu is hard for Hindi speaking to fully understand.
    There is many local languages spoken in Both India and Pakistan.
    The local language which both The nation's share in common is
    " Punjabi language " .
    And this song is 70% Punjabi and 30% Urdu
