It was 3 bands for $3 night we were there cause it was cheap. REM was the second band - pretty sure most people at the show had never heard of theme. Murmur was not released until later in the year. The top of the bill was a local band called Half Japanese.

Do you remember who the third band was? I have a memory of seeing both REM and 10,000 Maniacs at 9:30 in the early 80s, wondering if it was this show.
