Dave, this is so awesome, thank you my young friend. I live in Az. didn't know this was here in the north of the state. So cool, I really appreciate your sharing this with us. I can't travel any more, so I love this. Thank you again.
I lived in Arizona for 6 years and never heard of White Pocket! Seems like quite the adventure to get there but definitely worth the trip. Loved the drone footage.
White Pocket looks like such an adventurous place to go. Would love to drive those 4WD-tracks myself, feels a lot like our current road trip through Western Australia. Awesome smooth footage, combined with some drone shots, lovely!
Was at White Pocket 2 weeks ago and was blown away! Get out there now while it's free to roam....no lottery for tour, no fee, no park pass. High clearance 4X4 extremely highly recommended, maps, compass, and the works.
WOW 😮 I’ve lived near the Superstition Mountains for a long time, and never heard of this one! Sub’d and will enjoy more vids later...thnx for the idea!
stunning footage, well shot the only thing id fault was audio was bit off at some points with background noise... but I know how hard this can be to sort out
White Pocket just looks insane! I love your drone footage of it :) Driving on that dirt track looks pretty fun. I love driving on tracks like that - it reminds me of Namibia :) Very lucky that you chose to go in 4x4 haha as those roads do look pretty difficult. Loved all your different angles of the drive. Did you put a GoPro on the front of the car at one point?
Is there another better road, it doesn't matter if it is longer but we don't have a 4x4. Hope someone answers me, I'm going to go there in less than a month...
Did you re-inflate your tires after you left? I will be traveling there later this fall and im wondering if I need to bring a portable pump to re-flate my tires when I leave white pocket?
I think 4-wheel drive was enough to get us in and out of there and we didn't need to deflate. But it would be smart to have a pump in case something happens
what do you do if you have mechanical trouble with the vehicle while you're on the back roads? Maybe you should start studying archeology and geology! Interesting swirls.
Hi Dave, I am in the process of creating a website for my travel agent side business and I would love to use your video to help visitors learn more about the White Pocket. Would you provide me with permission to share the video as is on my website? Full credit will given to you of course as it will just be embedded via TH-cam functionality.

Thanks for the video. I'm an old man so I can't get out like I used to, so I appreciate these adventures.
Thanks for the kind comment. 😊
Spectacular! Excellent footage and videography. Love it!
Thank you for the feedback!
I've been there and the rock formations are awesome. I would love to go there again and take more photographs.
It's the perfect time to do it 🙂

You're very welcome. It's such a cool spot in Arizona.
So cool!
Such a nice video and great commentary, love to watch it. Seems like it is worth the ride. The drone shows the real beauty even better.
Yeah it's hard to capture that place. The drone gives perspective.
You guys are a good team. Great camera work, Todd!

Well, now you have to go back and see it for yourself, haha

West Oz sounds like it'd be great too

You're welcome. Get there soon!
we will!
yep looks like a dragon scale hahaha cool rock formations.. the place is beautiful... look like a great time for both of you
I didn't think of that but it kind of does look like that.
WOW 😮 I’ve lived near the Superstition Mountains for a long time, and never heard of this one! Sub’d and will enjoy more vids later...thnx for the idea!
I hope you can make it out there sometime
Dang that would be a fun place to take the jeep and have some fun with it
Make a day out of it
stunning footage, well shot the only thing id fault was audio was bit off at some points with background noise... but I know how hard this can be to sort out
I need to stop talking in cars, huh.
Amazing video. One question abou the road, do you think a Wrangler is needed or with an standard 4WD SUV is enough? Thank you!
4wd should be enough. The higher the clearance, the better, though

Between Todd and I, we had lots of cameras. One of his gopros was attached to the bumper

While watching this video I just scored a guide,I'm going this March.
I hope you have a blast 🙂
Did y'all need a permit for white pocket?
Nope. Just need a good vehicle
It's funny to see a paper map, but I can see it being so nessary if you have no cell phone signal
The paper map does show the best way whereas Google maps took us a less worn way.
what do you do if you have mechanical trouble with the vehicle while you're on the back roads? Maybe you should start studying archeology and geology! Interesting swirls.
We would have to start hiking
How far would you be from vehicle services?
What’s the name of this song ?
