Interesting how far the performance of average cars have come since the E30 I have a 1.6TDI VW Polo with a stage 1 tune (105hp to 145hp and 330nm), that does 0-100 in 7.5-8.5 seconds depending on weather and traction.. Definitely not a rocket by any means, but its an odd thought
Exactly ! todays, some slow cars were considered very fast back in the days. Our way of dealing with powers has completely changed. And you're right, a car with stage 1 can already be quite "fast" even if the car isn't meant to be "fast"
E36 M3 sub 5 second to 60, took more than 20 years to make something compete against E36 M3 and u still need to tune car to beat it. The M3 used in this video is something wrong. And cheap 40 euro tires.

The normal one is just as fast to 100 with 15 inch wheels and 205 tires.
