I have worked with react, and am also very good in react native but since Python has more modules that work very easily I was planning to learn developing apps with Python. Guess I have to go back to react native pro work and Python for personal projects to make my life easier
I want to use numpy library in the backend for making a mobile app since my project involves lot of math . I am considering using flutter + django for mobile dev. Do you think thats a good idea? ( The project : An app for calculating Asian option prices using Monte Carlo Simulation. Your advice would be highly appreciated.
Yes, it definitely is a great idea! One of the most common reasons that people to choose to use a Python/Django backend for their apps is to benefit from Python libraries such as numpy. You're on the right track!
Hey a Greet from Honduras! Really Informative Video My question is It's possible to create an mobile app using Kivy and Django between an API? If no. Why?
Hi Omar, unfortunately, as mentioned in the video, there is a shortage of resources for BeeWare as compared to other Python modules. They do have some written tutorials in their documentation though (docs.beeware.org/en/latest/tutorial/tutorial-1.html). You can also probably find a few TH-cam videos and written tutorials on blogs. I can try to make some tutorials if you're interested, maybe later this month (once I finish my current series).
Kivy was designed to provide a common GUI for all platforms and hide the complexity of the different operating systems. Since Kivy is (besides the tools) a Python library, you can build a backend "with Kivy" but the backend would probably be plain Python - plus whatever libraries you need. (Be aware that some packages that use compiled (non-Python) code are not available for Android or iOS.)
I am a Flutter Developer and it's so awesome it's backend Django compatible as I wanna learn Python for web and server side backend.
