Hey 👋 I’ve built this following your tutorial exactly and all my pistons worked perfectly but the concrete powder just fell through when I pressed the button ☹️ any suggestions on why this is?
@@Wspre_ mine works perfectly… until I add the loop… we’ll the raised button to be exact, works fine on the lower button near the torch but when I make the button ground level it’s out of sync and the sand just falls
Someone please help! Everything is built correctly, ive triple checked, and it worked before i built the looping system, but when i added the looping system, the timing got messed up and most of the powder gets stuck under the pistons. Once again, ive guaranteed that the machine and the looping system is built 100% correct.

OK, I see people saying it doesn’t work today’s version, but it can work with some edits to the loop first same out for the start for the button, but extend the part where the loop starts the first four repeaters 0 tik after that 1 full tik then a piston to stop the loop after the piston four repeaters on full after that dust and on the other side 0 t ticks all the way down I hope this helps don’t know if this works on Java but on bedrock it does for me for me. also change the tick for the repeater underneath the observer to 3 ticks
Oof, I must've gotten some circuiting wrong. Mine didnt work, and instead, some pistons pushed other pistons onto the slime block and it got stuck. Plus, my pistons and sticky pistons were not on the right times. #OOF!

Has the latest update just broken the redstone for this? I hope not as I am nearly finished building a giant one for the end of my first adventure game build, but my smaller test ones no longer work, the redstone does strange things! Was really grateful to you translating this build to make it easy to understand.
4:21 I put those repeater to 3 tick and the repeater going same way for the top pistons on 3 tick,also I change the repeater under the observer to 3 ticks,and it worked for me. Hope it makes sense

for any pc bois the repeater under the observer should be set to three tic deley instead of 2 also all the repeaters in the looping system should be set to three too. i think the physics are slower in pc becuase mine didnt work till i did that. i found that out the hard way...

The only way I can see taking this to the next level, is to create a circuit that could randomly generate a firing pattern, so you get different effects. I have a loose idea of how to accomplish this in mind but given the hour at which I am posting this comment, doubt I could finely articulate the method, without missing something. Even a 2-pattern randomizer would be pretty cool. One pattern as shown in the video and another that ripples either from the center outward, or the perimeter inward. I'm sure this concept would require different circuitry though, likely multi-leveled, otherwise you'd simply get the current pattern firing at differently timed intervals.

If it is you can always wait for my tutorial in a week and half time 😉😂 So you need to wire something up so it works in reverse when you turn a lever off, unfortuantely there is no set way of doing it, it depends massively on what you are build etc Observers are always a good help though ;)
@@TheBowTieMan anyways I managed to do it i just have to put a line of repeaters with 4 tick delay with some blocks between and run a redstone output from those blocks into pulse extenders such that first one has the longest pulse and the last one has shortest pulse😅😅😅😅 anyways thanks for replying Pls tell me any ideas for redstone builds i have run out of those

All you have to do is replace the repeater by the red stone torch with red stone dust, I’m still trying to fix the looping part tho so idk for that

You can replace the obsidians with other blocks that the slime block cannot pull. For example, a pumpkin or melon block
