the reason they dont use the red light poncho thing on the o-runs, wher they are dressed in running attire .. is because its all about the exercise of finding your way.
and not patrol duty. so focus on the specific task at hand.
as you probably noticed in later videos they go down very hard on light and sound dicipline when they are actually on patrol
im totally onboard with building good habits, but here they specifically dont do it, because to see what these guys are made of, they simplify the tasks in the beginning.
one thing at a time, so we also have a clear understanding where the applicant failed.
    hope that makes sense :)

Wrong translation 4:20 minutes in. The Danish word "Konstabel" (Constable) means "Professional soldier" 😊. He is not a Police Officer.

2900 meters might sound a lot. But with a little bit of running experience. Its easily done. I did 3000 on the conscription. Later in my conscription, i did 3300. Had only been running for 2 months before i joined

The fitness test is not hard to a fit, young man. I was too near sighted to join, but back when I was young, I tried it. And as an old-fashioned carpenter (which I was then), doing Muay-Thai three times a week and Home Guard training 2-4 times a week, I tried it just to see if I had the fitness, and I did not find it challenging at all. And I was not at my max fitness potential, my cardio sucked (still does now that I am an old and injured historian HEMA-practitioner with a wrecked body).

Civilians, to a unit like this, in that time?! Are they desperate for candidates or what? Would be interessting to know what the results are compared with the previous years when only millitary personel was accepted.

Yes I am very interested in seeing this throughout the series, as not sure if it would work personally

I do not really understand. Are they not civilians anymore when they are accepted into the army? Do they get weapons training after the selection process? Maybe the right way to go.

Direct access for civilians was an attempt to increase recruitment, but it turned out to be worthless, as none of the civilians made it through selection - the model has since been abandoned and the Corps has reverted to the old policy where applicants must have a military background as a minimum requirement.
