Pueblo Aztlan Las Golondrinas MVI 01341

The eight graduating members of Pueblo High School's Mariachi Aztlan from the class of 2020 perform Las Golondrinas - a song of swallows flying off and returning. Traditionally Las Golondrinas is played at Pueblo graduation in Tucson just before the graduates switch their tassels to the other side, as a showcase for the graduating members of Mariachi Aztlan. But with COVID 19 making graduation a virtual experience, the song was taped at the Pueblo Auditorium for later broadcast on CBS affiliate KOLD.
