Hi Drizzt, may I ask the question about blocking on Arcanist? I can't figure out when should I block. I used fire Vatershran staff before and switched to frost staff to block more, but now I'm just constantly out of magic. Also I've read that block doesn't work on top of shields. As Arcanist is constantly shielding is there any sense to block at all, or dodge roll is enough?
Hello! I mostly use arc shield combo for defense with small addition of block / roll dodge. Make sure that you don't have enabled "Tri focus' passive from destruction staff: " While an Ice Staff is equipped, blocking costs Magicka instead of Stamina." also if you want to 'practice' block playstyle, make sure that you will have 'sturdy' trait on few armor pieces to reduce block cost + add points into Red CP that reduce block cost. @@DrizztRPG appreciate your reply! Oh really, didn't think I can go without the tri focus passive and still keep the increased block of ice staff. Now I can block when I apply buffs, use shield after and have enough magica. This is really helpful, thanks!
