Meet Model Grandad as he sprays his way through 30+ tanks and armoured fighting vehicles with The Plastic Soldier Company's Army Spray: theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk/
Heh...when they're done. Easy to spray 39 odd tanks. Not so easy to finish. Check out the blog and website for photos of finished T34s, Tigers and StuGs...
Cheers for the review, dads! I can't for the life of me understand why PSC don't have such a clip on their own site... The white point was a bit off in some of the filming (the dunkelgelb looks almost green in some shots), but fortunately the shot at the end shows just how gorgeous the dunkelgelb is.
zechsfuckstube Thanks, very useful. Will try that on my camera. It's got WB settings. We're going to be filming the infantry uniform sprays this weekend. Should be ideal practice! Best wishes, Justin.
thanks for the review! ive been using your same method from the modeldads.co.uk site for painting my tankovy, how close would you say the model spray russian green is to that vallejo paint (096 russian green) you used to basecoat them?
sorry if this sounds stupid but is this a primer / basecoat in one, or do you still need to prime it first and then use this? Or is this a single spray that you can then wash and (optionally drybrush) before varnishing?
Thanks GJ, yup, new title sequence. Model Dads is 3 this month so I figured we needed a make over to bring us up to date with what we cover...have covered...hope to cover :)
Thanks guys! You're too kind. British and Commonwealth stuff to follow before Christmas I reckon...

Yes, that should do the job fine. Might not be an exact match but by the time you've weathered them they'll be fine.
