Whoever made this is not a armor historian if they include Maus and Merkava and leave out Pz.III and Panther.

Chuck the Maus in the round file. It wasn't an operational tank. Panther needs to be there. The M-1 Abrams, which is the tank that fought the largest tank battle of modern times, is a critical miss.

Absolutely agree. Maus was nowhere, and went nowhere. No influence on modern tanks, it was a complete dead-end.
My list -- Tiger, StuG III, T-34, Sherman, (one WW2 British tank of your choice), (one WWI tank of your choice), M1 Abrams, Leopard, T-62, Challenger.

Built a Emhar Tadpole back in 1997, still looking down on me from the shelves. Tamiya T-34/85 from about 1985 or so. Also still alive. Tamiya Tiger 1, about 1974 or so. Still alive, somewhat battered. Aurora Sherman, 1967? Long gone. Have a Dragon E8 hanging round to be built.

This is a good list, but I think one Post-War Soviet Tank should have been included, e.g. T-62 or the T-55.
T-55 has much nicer available models.
I agree, except for Maus and Churchill. To my mind, you MUST have post war Soviet tank (choice between T-54 to T-90) as a German western Leopard, in the version you want.
Stuger Fe 7:52. Good video and model kit selection but the AI voice over left much to be desired especially in the foreign pronunciation.

T-55 served around the world
I can agree with your list with one exception: the Maus-tank. This unesthetic and megalomaniac thing was a useless waste of steel with absolutely no impact on military history. Replace it by the Stug III or a postwar tank like the T62, Leopard or Abrams and your list will be perfect for me.

I'm going to stop using AI for voice acting someday. But for now my level of English doesn't allow me to voice the clips myself.

I build panzer II, panzer IV H and walker bulldog. I guess t-34 next! What I love about it is that I can try find the version with symbols from vintage tv series from my country “4 pancerni i pies” (aka 4 tankers and the dog), they driver T-34 called Rudy 102
I learned it was a Polish TV show from 1966 to 1970. Four Tank-Men and a Dog, used a T-34-85 that's in the Poznan armor museum.

When I was younger (born in 2000) rhe tv show was very often and since it wasn’t era of Netflix ect u used to watch what actually was on those few tv channels. Very nostalgic thing

For me its probably, Mark.1, Tiger, IS-2, T-34-85, Hetzer, Sherman Easy 8 & Sherman Firefly, Pershing, M48 Patton, T-55, M1 Abrams, T-90M, Leopard 2.
Additionally 2 must have tanks are the TOG.II and yes the Maus.
Well for me: T-34, Sherman (any variant), the powerful Soviet behemoths (Kv-1 and 2), Is-2, Panzer 4, Tiger 1, panther, Maus (huh, ironic for it's size), Mk1 heavy, Matilda tank, T-55, Pershing and T-62. Anyway its my opinion cuz im more of WW1, WW2 and cold war tanks

Nice presentation. The maus and related E100 hybrids are interesting but I personally wouldn’t put them in top 10. Ya so many choices but didn’t hear one reference to Andy’s Hobbies newer tank designs notably their work to produce more large scale highly detailed kits…. And for some of us older modellers those smaller scale kits are getting super difficult to build. PS I find the robot voice strangely relaxing!

My list would never match most as I only build WWII German vehicles. The reason is I am trying to recreate the legendary "Encyclopedia of German Tanks of WWII" in kit form, and I nearly have every production vehicle represented save for a few I can scratch like the munitionsschlepper versions. I am short about 20 tanks from those shown in the book. Now, if we were talking aircraft then that would be a more varied list.
Also, the AI voice needs a review before being used. In fact, as an educator who uses AI in the classroom it is always a good idea to proofread anything you ask AI to do for you. Don't blindly trust it to be 100% on target.
LOL!!!!! Me too!!!! When getting back into modeling during the 1990s was just interested in German WWII tanks and wanted just 1 kit of each vehicle. Then, decided Sherman and its variants. Then, decided British tanks The, some modern vehicles. Then............................ somewhere along the way became quite "out of control".

Got to say that the only one I don't think should be in that list was the Maus. It never went into production, it never saw combat and was obviously unable to operate in the field where ever there was a river crossing, need for long distance travel or obligation to operate in the open. There are a number of tanks of any nationality that are more deserving of your list. Otherwise I think it is a pretty good list with a surprise or two.

You missed out the British Cromwell medium tank which was heavily used in WW2..

Instead of merkava you could easily add T55 (or later T72 - T80 variants) or the Centurion I or the Patton tank family(M46, M47,M48)

This "video" is a waste of time. Again with the idiocy of a robotic "voice," not to mention a purely personal opinion on the iconic vehicles that "no modeler can do without." Wrong on both counts. Again, a waste of time, my purely personal opinion.
Hard to disagree with your choices and the reasons for them, however the Stug III killed the most allied tanks of any German WW2 AFV (though stricktly not a tank), British Centurion in front line service 1945 (17pdr Mk1) to 1991 (AVRE), and for all the wrong reasons the interwar period Carden Lloyd due to all the false ideas it gave to designers and military thinkers.
This narrator does not sound like an AI but seriously struggles with the pronunciation of non English names. I would have thought it common knowledge that the name Renault is pronounced
Ren - no and the Italian name Fiat is pronounced Fee - at. You may not be a professional narrator, but if you want to gain recognition for the work, research your script before you present it. It detracts from what appears to be a well presented video.
Panzer IVs were used by Syria in their war against Israel in 1967.

Soviet T-55 most contructed and sold tank in history. Leopard II or M1 as superb MBT. Funny design? Char B1 bis or M3 Lee. SPG? Stug III Nashorn, or ISU 152. PANTHER. Wirbelwind. Maybe Panzer I or II. Maybe a japanese.

How could you say FIAT as F I AT and Tiger I as Tiger "eye"? perhaps doing a voice over would be better.
So far my level of English doesn't allow me to do the voiceover myself. But I am striving for it and gaining skills.

Comment No 2. You made the claim that certain tanks fought on all fronts. The first two certainly did not. neither fought in the Pacific or South East Asia.
Drop Maus add a KV any variant. Replace the Crusader for a Cromwell or Lee/Grant.
Churchill should be before the Sherman chronologically.

Почему нет пантеры. Маус танк по факту был собран в 2х экземплярах но не где не воевал, танк которого не было. А Шерман совершенно не красивый танк в отличии от всё остальных.
