Bro no boots?
I'm a Bane main too, here are some insights if you just came here to watch a recommended video:
- Mage build scales extremely well into late game, but the build is very expensive, and committal. If you're behind by just a few hundred gold, you'll be behind by an item a lot.
- Physical build is the "safe and consistent" playstyle. Definitely not as flashy as Mage, and even passive if you have to resort to shooting a lot.
- The video does not have a really good teamplay, but as a solo player, it could suffice.
- Go EXP lane or Mid lane for levels. Level 4 is extremely important to hit early. Go Jungle if your comp can support his massive, kiteable butt. Bane wants good lockdown for support(Tigreal, Atlas, or good single target stun like Selena can do as well), or good isolation(Jawhead, Cecilion...), or a good sustained damage source(Marksmen except Brody and Granger).
- Bane gets countered by kiting strategies(hit and run attacks that whittle him down, so like Melissa shenanigans), high bursts(he's not the tankiest guy usually), or heroes that can stick to him(Hayabusa, Gusion, or a lot of stuns, or someone like Gord who sticks to you from far away). If enemy drafts your counters, your Ult must be saved for defense. Mage build can supplement this with good damage.
- Bane counters a lot of rushing deathball strategies. He is really good at defending the base or towers. He is also extremely good at split-pushing, as he clears the wave extremely fast even at Level 2. Physical build supplements this strategy with the power to 3-shot turrets, while Mage build gives the ult massive turret damage. Go ham with the literal fastest pusher in the game. Use your Ult sparingly, either to completely win fights, or to save your(preferably your team's) ass.
- Micro: It's too taxing to one's mind to fish for S1 bounces, but with practice, a lot of common patterns come to your mind eventually, and you will start bouncing S1 shots left and right. Weirdly, the bounce depends on YOUR vision, so you have to be deceptively close to the target to get the juicy bounce. S2 micro is mainly about managing your passive charges. Ideally, you want to be spinning all the time, spins deal massive damage in both physical and magical builds. Turrets beware.
- Managing Ult cooldown: At Level 4, this cooldown is rather large and should be used to reap massive rewards, or save your team from collapsing. Weirdly, each shark can hit once for a total of three times, so one cool trick is to use Flameshot or other knockback tool to get the Ult to hit more than once. You cannot do that with just Ult.
- Finally, Bane is relatively weak early game, your skills should be ready when the enemy attacks you, or you're toast.

The build is good and all but pls buy boots especially in esrly game. Lots of players buy into such builds without boots, dies every time but still mever buy boots. Movement speed is also an essential component especially if you are a midlaner, goes for ganks or gets ganked everytime.
For eg. Argus players. Those people brains are msde of rocks. Even if they get kited because they lack MS yet they will never buy boots.

The KDA is good yes. But the way you play -especially in the early part isn't ideal. Your gameplay shows selfishness, self centered game style. "not a good role model" (to warn some newbies here)
