This song is so awesome and brings back grippingly strong nostalgia and memories...so happy I got live during the height of the Garage era. I'm from Texas(USA) UK Garage is nostalgic, although its a universe of music for me, that I didn't get to experience much of. Hearing it as a kid whenever I did (24 years of age currently). I just thought it was RnB/Pop growing up. Til' this day I still hear it as a sister music to RnB Which can be well warranted when attributing artists like Craig David and Artful Dodger, and attributing tracks like this one.
Yo, sad. I saw one of your other messages, I grew up to original house and breaks here in the deep south from my parents then got into jungle from New York and Philadelphia mostly. I've been trying to get people to party to stuff like this since high school. I've been working on an odd assortment of Drum and Bass, Deep House, and Post punk for years now. It's cool to know there's others around my age into this stuff. Big ups from a 23 year old in Alabama.
