Hi Dbb , bought mine today, everything I being seeing about it is positive. From what I've heard that fixed FTB works better on these reels than the magtrax on the other variants.
Yeah I would think the fixed FTB would be better than magtrax I still don’t know why they didn’t all go fixed, I guess so they could offer a standard spool as well
trying to decide between this and the soloking acura pro. only big difference i can see is the breaking system. $5 price difference with current sales.
Thanks for putting that video out. I saw this browsing Ali on my phone and it caught my eye, frame reminds me of the Soloking HICC50. If possible could you do some on the water stuff with it? Would you let us know how the magnet strength is? Your input is appreciated, thumbs up and sub!
Thanks much, I found a video of a southeast asian guy fishing it with a couple different lures. He had no backlashes and it seemed to cast just fine....I just wish I could understand what he was saying or that he had CC available.@@dbbfishing2528
I forgot to bring my camera but I’ve used it a few days ago and it’s the real deal! I haven’t caught anything big but I did try casting a very nice range of lures from 1/16-1/4 and it handles them all very well.
I used this side by side with a Brownie (Dovellio bmc100) both on a Magic L 6'6" light power , mf action , 15# braid casting from 3/16 down to 1/32oz and the Zeus embarrassed the Brownie at anything under 1/16oz . Both are excellent choices for light lures like the op here uses , but the Zeus did not feel the least but over braked when I went below 1/16oz whereas the Brownie began to cast to my left even at 0 brake , indicating over braked for ultralight . I also use left hand retrieve on both and the springs on the Brownie might be why I couldn't go below 1/16oz . Hope that helps .

I’ve got the Curado, I was thinking about doing a video on it, but anyhoo I have mine on a Dobyn’s 7’4” Sierra light and it’s one of my favorites!

Would you say this bear King Zeus would be good for fishing for or 6 lb test line for small Bass?
Yes that’s exactly what I use it for, six pound FC with spy baits, and other finesse baits

Does line get stuck between the inner frame and spool when it backlashes? Ive definaltey had that problem with zephyr and other CDM bfs reel
