    Amazing, well done on the PB’s lads! I’m there this weekend, it’s getting very hot though hopefully they don’t spawn this week!

    • @TomoWalker_fishing
      @TomoWalker_fishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have seen a lot of places spawning but ladywood as not yet, it’s a much bigger and deeper lake so will take a little longer to spawn then others,
      Today I have seen they have had the 72nd named 30!! At over 34lb it’s an incredible lake :)
      What peg you going on?

      @@TomoWalker_fishing I’ve been watching and listening to comments on their page for weeks now! 72 30’s is incredibly for a northern lake!
      My and my friend are actually fishing the small lake first, pegs 4 and 5! They still go up to 25+ in there and both only have PB’s around 15lbs so fingers crossed!

      The water is stunning and amazing, what I would do is join there FB page as see where the fish are coming out to give you an idea where you need to be heading,
      Biggest tip from me is use the house pellets 100%!! These fish are fed on these are like them, adding a bit of garlic and salt could be a good idea with the carp getting ready to spawn,
      Little yellow baits worked best for us but a lot of the catch reports currently are say “max baits whites” I personally have not used them but do seem to work,
      If you have a bait boat then I think this can massively help you fishing the spots, my last fish I was there 48h and that rig I left 18h untill it rattled off with my 30, I knew my baits where good, rigs and spots where good so didn’t need to change just wait :)
      I hope you smash it mate and please keep us posted :)
      Tight lines,
      Tomo 🐟🎣🐟🎣

      On the left hand side of the island there is a over hanging tree, there is a shelf of about 7ft just off it put the bait it and they will come,
      Don’t ignore the gap to your left as fish will pass through, and same again up to the island :)
      10000% get house pellets!!
      I used yellow sweet wafter baits but I see a lot use MAD baits and white pop ups (I don’t use this it’s just what I read) good luck and keep us posted :)

      Sorry for the delay in reply been dealing with family matters,

    Hey lads, awesome vid. Due to go in September but know peg 9 is taken. Any other double pegs that have been recommended to you or you’ve both fished before? I know it depends where the fish are don’t get me wrong just if you knew of any decent double ones other than 9 😎

    • @TomoWalker_fishing
      @TomoWalker_fishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The peg I see doing the most fish atm is peg 3 but unsure if that’s a double, if you can get on there that would be ace,
      Peg 11 is a double and on it’s day can be very productive,
      All I would recommend is use there pellets to your feed/mix as they are used to it and live to eat it :)

    • @TomoWalker_fishing
      @TomoWalker_fishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Peg 3 is a big single not a double sorry,
      Double peg 1 back bay,
      6 and 7 is a double, peg 9 is a double peg 11 is a double and peg 16 is a double what time of year can change what’s the better peg to fish, in September doubles peg 1,9 and 11 are better

      @@jimbob71 I know a lot of people like to use salt every time they are out on the bank but I my self like to add it to my mix before and after spawning, it really is an amazing lake and I can’t wait to go back, I know it’s not a runs water but doing the maths and the odds are 1 in 9 fish is a 30lber!! That’s amazing odds :) if you do go there are cray fish so make sure you baits are below 5ft as they seem to not go deeper then that and it keep you out of the way of the swans 🎣🐟🎣🐟
