my wolf-beast-man character is the one I made for the anniversary event. he's called Beastsaint Djura, a reincarnate of Bloodborne's lovely beast defender. he rejected the path of becoming Elden Lord to become a half-wolf recusant who invades to kill anyone who harms the creatures of the land. from deer to wolves to rune bears to dragons, Beastsaint Djura is a defender of all nonhumanoids. kind of ironic, considering where this video went. cool build, love the hints of crucible knight flavoring.

I’ve got a lvl 80 beast build like this that I love, I use the wolf head w/ the beast champion armor for the sweet fashion. The weps are cinquedea and beast seal. The high poise with the dagger makes it much better, and when people start to panic and roll it’s so easy to roll catch with it. It’s gotta be one of my favorite invasion builds by far.
I’ve got the exact same build And I only got the idea for that form with my silver beast tear build (a dragon bleed build with a flamberge the beast set and the wolf head)

Great video as per usual saint. Thanks for reminding me to replay DD in all this new free time I have. I hope they do something to extend the life of DD2, whether it's player-interaction online or some kind of trial dungeon deal. DD was great, but didn't feel like there was much of a point to continue grinding and fine-tuning after beating

My dude. Sometimes your builds loosely inspire mine. I am also into the thematic lore build invasions. That's kinda my whole shtick. But i usually try ro make my builds as mean as i possibly can without breaking the theme. So some of my builds are just beefier versions of yours. Like Pyro and Magic Knight lol. My beast paladin is extemely mean. I will tell you how to make this build even meaner. Beastclaw greathammer. Blunt damage. Hits like a truck. Has one of the only real true 2 hit combos in the game. 1h R2 combos into 1h R1 consistently for like 1000 damage. But even meaner is the L2. This thing has an L2 that does a smash shockwave type deal. With insane range. If the shockwave lands at a distance, it may do 800-1000 damage. It is a lingering/repeating hitbox so your average host cannot roll it. But meanest of all. If you land the L2 up close with the smash, it just straight up wipes anyone off the face of the earth. 1500-1800 damage with alex shard. And it has borderline unbreakable hyper armor. Yeah. It is very easy to land. Highly recommend. Edit: Okay i just saw you swap to the thing, this is hype Edit #2 Yeah i get what you mean about making a cool build video and seeing gankers just mindlessly copy it. I love Jeenine but i am so disgusted with all the low effort jeenine clones i run into in ganks. Man, i've even been killed by gankers using my own builds. Granted they were on mcdonalds wifi, i didnt have much of a chance. But the dude who killed me with my own build was really apologetic about it at least. Can't hate a viewer even if he is ganking. I told him to stop using my power for evil things.
I have 10 builds/characters and they all fit into a particular faction, area, or group in the lands between. Their weapons, armor, and everything has to fit the backstory I created for each one. My Faith Holy Paladin is called Order Praetorian and uses Holy damage on the weapons and buffs, my Faith Pyromancer Melee/Caster hybrid build is called Fist of Gelmir and uses Blasphemous Blade, Dual Magma Blades, Iron Greatsword with Flaming Strike, Dual Giants Braid Whips, and the Fire Incantations. Then I have a Melee/caster hybrid Lightning build called Draconic Apostle wearing the unaltered Banished Knight Armor with the Great Helm he's basically an Elite Banished Knight from Farum Azula. My Arcane Bleed/Occult build is called Mohgwyn's Wrath and he is a former Night Calvary that left the service of Morgott and joined Mohg to be his enforcer so he wears the Night Calvary Armor set. I have two Intelligence builds, one serves Carians and the other is a Wizard from Raya Lucaria. My Dexterity build is aligned with the Haligtree, and my Quality and Strength builds are aligned with Radahn and the Redmanes. I wish there were Covenants in Elden Ring but alas there isn't lol. I feel you on making a build fit the lore of the game. It's honestly one of my favorite aspects of the game.
Back in 2016 I spent an entire week home from school because of a cold that I massively exaggerated the severity of. I used that week to buy Dragon's Dogma: DA, then dumped about 40 hours into it. I haven't played it since, but I've never been able to stop quoting "Masterworks all, you can't go wrong." I had forgotten what it was even from until this video. Thank you saint.
That sounds like some absolutely fantastic fried chicken cause I love me some Nashville hot spices, it's great going in but man does it suck going out.. also speaking of combos with beast man's boulder based on what I saw in Chasethebro's videos you can do quite a few spell combos with that one spell, which is awesome. Big brain moves using the Mausoleum Soldiers as heals with the Takers Cameo. I'm originally from Kentucky, just minutes away from Hazard, about an hour from Lexington, but the day of my 11th birthday we moved to East Tennessee, been there ever since. That was a rough birthday, but my mom did give me a real Katana lol, that was pretty sweet. Caribbean Jerk Seasoning is really good. I like to cut up chicken breasts into tenders, wrap them with bacon, and put Grill Mates Seasoning on them (Brown Sugar Bourbon, Mesquite, and Bacon Chipotle are all very good on steaks, chicken, and pork chops), and either cook them in the oven or even better on the Grill. I use the dry rub method, but a marinade would be good too. The good Mac N Cheese with real Bacon Bits Mixed in, and the Idahoan Instant Mashed Potatoes, and Garlic Knot Rolls for sides. My wife and I can throw down in the kitchen lmao. Cool that you're from Kentucky, go Wildcats!
I experimented with a beast build on my Strength/Intelligence build, but I settled on a Frost build and Gravity build for him instead. Had two sets of Hook Claws, one with Bloodhounds Step and the other with either Raptor of the Mists or Beast Roar and switch between the two on the fly. It was actually kinda fun lol, not OP at all tho. But hey fun factor is what truly matters. With the Beastclaw Great Hammer and Bestial Incantations it really fits the beast theme

My 150 confessor beast incant build is for sure one of my all time favorite. And hey here's a combo for you saint, either use rejection, Nobles presence, or wrath of gold, anything to knock them to them down a reposte/backstab would work great too I imagine, also burn o flame (flame pillars) and combo into guranqs boulder

Seeing your first beast paladin build made me want to do one. Especially after seeing that greathammer, cause I'm not much one for swords, but strike weapons got me acting unwise. I finally got around to making it and I love it, being able to do decent damage with spells without needing crazy high stat investment and not huge fp cost is so nice. Probably the first time I actually made a hybrid character since if I use spells I usually go fully focused on that.

I played Dragon’s Dogma before I got into the souls games back in 2012. Looking more forward to DD2 than I was for Elden Ring.
