Thank you for explaining the Fugueal protolock for us. 8 months down the line from you uploading this I re-subbed after not playing for a year and was playing catch up and this puzzle gave me quite a bit of trouble. You've helped a lot!
Fugueal. Each figure has 4 elements where BS=Border Shape, BN=Border Number, RS=Rune Shape, RN=Rune Number. Select a trio of figures such that each figure is either a match or mismatch for all four elements (BS, BN, RS, RN) If you pick a pair of figures that match in any one or more elements (BS, BN, RS, RN) then your third figure must also match that element(s). I think the difficulty with solving the Fugueal is that we tend to look for a match rather than a mismatch. (Note that Pocopoc will solve the puzzle for you at the cost of Pocopoc energy.)
@@damianuoho it’s a poorly designed add-on with an even more poorly designed description of mechanics. Only slightly helpful for the fugueal puzzles which are the harder of the three, granted, it doesn’t excuse its lack of descriptions or overall usefulness.

problem with the runes one with circles and triangles is that they don't add up. I'm currently in a puzzle that has only 2of everything. no 3rd option exists. and it's prompting me to find ones that match. so really a good fucking job blizzard. so after just hitting things in order I found. 1st set all different, 2nd set 2same 1 different. 3rd set also 2same and one different.
why would they add a quest like this? btw i completed the fungeal protolock quest 3 times and it appears to be bugged...won't give me credit when i select my last three
I really hate being "that guy", 😖 and I'm really trying to help here... I think your guides could GREATLY improve by editing out the long pauses and moments where you say "ummm" and "emmm". 🙂 I would usually not comment about something like this, 😅 but it felt a bit excessive to listen to a 4 sec sentence taking 14 sec to get out. 😖 If you are the type of person who struggles with "being on the spot" when recording videos, maybe some notes on the side would help you get the words out faster, because it comes off extremely unprepared. 😅 A video like this should MAX be 10-20 mins long, and that is if it's a THOROUGH guide. I had to stop mid way when I realized that the video is 45 min... 😬 It's just MUCH much much too long for a simple guide... Every other video I have found after moving on from yours, explains each puzzle in 3-5 min, and yours could be that short too if you edited the video a bit. 🙂 You do a great job on the actual explaining, you just have SOOO many "pauses/dead moments" that needs editing out.

Those are the worst minigames we ever had. Its a horrible waste of time and all it is, is a frustrating & confusing. I really liked the minigames of nazjatar. 9.2 is fine so far, but this second minigame is an straight insult

knock out the 1st 3 runes...then u can guess the others...sooooo much easier when explained the logical jist of it....haha....does WoW just come up w/this bs r do they get w/like a puzzologist to make these...

this is honestly the worst thing about 9.2. the fugueal still doesnt makes sense and there can be multiple correct options for the first move
Correct! The fugueal has 3 correct solutions and it doesn't make a difference which you start with.

you can click the corners and the puzzle will never be unsolveable because you can always retrace what you did. I solved a bunch by clicking corners
