Hi Lauren, I enjoy seeing the way you think outside the box. I love learning different ways to do something. Thank you for sharing your skills with all of us. I hope the sun is shining where you are and you and your family are having an amazing day! 🙂
My mom made the mav and told me she had a really hard time turning it through the pocket and made me not want to make it so I'm happy you figured out an alternative way!!! ❤❤❤
Nice! I like the quilted piecing for the front panel. On mine, I added a slip pocket in the back and a zipper pocket in the front. I also added 2 inches to the zipper and subtracted 2 inches to the gusset to make the zipper opening a bit wider. I also used foam in the back panel.
Love how your Mav turned out. I haven’t made one yet but your demo has sold me! So stinking cute! I agree - no one wants a big bag anymore. That’s fine.
This will be a perf zoo bag. Thank you for sharing and of course for tour knowledge! I think it would also be cool to do a quilty look like you did with the roses if you have just a plain vinyl for the front! ❤
Binding both front and back actually works pretty well, even with the zipper offset. Though in the middle is my preference, I’ve done a couple bound with the zip as written and it still works ok
I worry that those single layer fold over strap ends won't hold up in the long run. I'd have reinforced them with Dec Light at least. I'm glad I watched this before I sew mine--thanks.
I was just about to say the same! I don’t want to appear a complainer, either, but the camera angle is just not quite right. Hope this doesn’t offend anyone 😊
My phone went black after you showed the bag and I could only hear you. I’m going to restart my phone and try again because I have been waiting to see you sew it.
I have learned so much from you over the last few years. and I love your choice of color and design. thanks for all…

Love this bag with all the colors! The size is perfect for hands free shopping.

I’m happy you made the Mav Pack. I love the way you’re Mav turned out!! Thanks for all the great tips!! Hopefully mind will turn out as nice!

Crossbody strap connectors!!! You changed my trajectory
I love it, it was a blast watching you.
Linds Mav Pack is incredible. Made one and cutting 4 more out.........the bag is functional and cute
I am making my 1st one and have taken it apart twice now. I love your multi colored front.
Update. Took it apart for the third and last time. Kept the hardware.... 😞

I love your videos. Some of your detail work is off camera. Is there a way to adjust your camera to pick up your hands? Thank you for your hard work.
Oh I’m so sorry I try to fix it and then my head is in the way😂
Hi Lauren I have noticed this above camera angle hinders our view any time you work below the ruler on your table. The side view was better I think.
Thank you for your feedback! I am switching it up for the next batch of tutorials. Hoping someday I can have the perfect angles
@@LaurenMormino just love your videos. Keep up the great work. Your daughter is adorable.
❤❤
That is so cute

Ben certainly had a lot to say for the intro! 🤣
I'm curious if you've ever tried to add a few inches to a bag like this? I like it, I bought the pattern only to realize I wish it was bigger
You can always try printing at a different percentage. I see a lot of people printing at 115%
Awesome.
What brand thread, weight and where to get it please?
Amann thread. I use Tex 70-90
Can't see a lot of what you're doing at the bottom of the screen. Sorry to be a complainer.

Are those hair clips you're using?
Yep!

Great video; but it would be better if the camera is down toward the bottom a little, so we have a better view of what you are doing.
Totally understand! If the camera is lower then my head is in the way. 😂
